We just moved to Denton and this was my first Saturday at the Denton Community Market. I told her my husband loves a basic good old fashioned Chocolate Cake so I bought one and he said “This is how it’s supposed to taste!” Can’t wait to try allof the things from this amazing bakery!

I had Nana’s buttercake with chocolate frosting at the Dallas Farmers Market a few years ago. It was the—literal—best cake I’ve ever eaten. My husband had the sweet potato pie and we still talk about both to this day. I have ordered a few times to have treats shipped (we live in WA) and it’s always been delicious. Also, they’re so kind. When you order to ship they ask you when you want it to arrive so they can help accommodate—very thoughtful. Any time I’m in DFW I look to see if they’re at a market or pop up somewhere. I am so grateful we stumbled upon their treats!

We had the pleasure of coming across Nana Dot’s Southern Sweets booth at the Keller farmers market this past Saturday! We got one of the Sock it to Me pound cakes and OMG! It was heavenly! Both my husband and I were obsessed from the first bite and instantly regretted not getting the other options as well! 100/10 recommend! It was moist and flavorful and just perfection! Looking forward to trying more!

I can't remember how I came across Nana Dot's but I am hooked. There's a difference in cake & good cake, Nana Dot's is phenomenal. Pretty much anywhere they post up I do my best to show up. No matter what I get I eat it slowly to make it last longer. My fav is the Red Velvet cake slice but everything I've had deserves 10 out of 10 stars.
