Sacré Sucré Introduce
Introduction / Overview
Maryland locals looking for an elevated coffee and dessert experience need to look no further than Sacré Sucré. Nestled in the historic and vibrant Fells Point neighborhood of Baltimore, this establishment is far more than a simple coffee shop; it is a full-service patisserie, bakery, cake shop, dessert studio, and tea house all wrapped into one beautifully curated space. It has quickly become a gem within the Baltimore culinary scene, renowned for bringing true French-style pastry artistry to the Mid-Atlantic. The business is proudly Latinx-owned and LGBTQ+-owned, contributing to the rich diversity of local small businesses in Baltimore.
The atmosphere inside Sacré Sucré is designed to be inviting and spacious, a perfect blend of modern chic and cozy comfort. The interior is bright and open, offering ample seating for a relaxing dine-in experience. Customers frequently praise the charming ambiance, which is complemented by a delightful aroma of freshly baked goods that fills the air. The dedication to quality is evident in every detail, from the meticulously handcrafted pastries to the selection of high-quality teas and specialty coffees. The owners, who are self-taught and deeply passionate about their craft, focus on a delicate balance of flavor, often using less sugar than typical American desserts to allow the natural, fruit-forward ingredients to shine. This commitment has resulted in signature items like the Baklava Cake and their celebrated macarons, which customers agree rival those found in Paris.
Originally opening its doors in 2018 on Fleet Street in Fells Point, Sacré Sucré outgrew its original location and moved to a significantly larger, grand new space on Fell Street in 2024. This expansion allowed them to not only offer more seating but also to broaden their already impressive culinary offerings, including the introduction of new breakfast, lunch, and bread options, alongside their core focus on exquisite French patisserie. This newer, larger location is designed to enhance the customer experience, providing a relaxed and airy setting for all who visit, whether it's for a quick morning coffee or an indulgent afternoon dessert.
Location and Accessibility
Sacré Sucré is perfectly situated in the heart of Baltimore's historic Fells Point, making it an accessible destination for locals and tourists exploring the waterfront area. The neighborhood itself is known for its cobblestone streets and maritime history, providing a charming backdrop for this French-inspired café.
The main address is:
933 Fell St, Baltimore, MD 21231, USA
For added convenience, the location also features a second entrance at 918 1/2 S. Wolfe St., directly across from the Union Wharf Apartments. This dual access point makes visiting easier from different parts of the neighborhood.
Accessibility for all patrons is a priority, as the establishment includes amenities such as a wheelchair-accessible restroom and wheelchair-accessible seating. Visitors arriving by car should be aware that parking in the area is limited to paid street parking, which can be challenging, particularly on busy weekend days when local markets may be operating. Despite the parking situation, the prime location in a bustling, historical district makes it a highly desirable stop for a quick visit or a leisurely gathering.

What is Worth Choosing
For any Maryland resident or visitor, choosing Sacré Sucré offers a truly distinctive European-style culinary experience that stands out in the regional coffee and dessert landscape. The primary reason to choose this patisserie is the unwavering commitment to the craft of French baking. The owners’ journey from self-taught enthusiasts to masters of the macaron and viennoiserie ensures that every item is a labor of love and precision. Their baked goods, like the famous "pur beurre" croissant, which takes three days to make using AOP butter from France, are not just food—they are edible art. Customers consistently rave about the perfectly flaky texture of the croissants and the perfect balance of flavors in the cakes, noting that they are "not too sweet," a common compliment for high-quality French desserts.
Beyond the pastries, the quality of their beverage program makes it a worthy destination in itself. Coffee enthusiasts can appreciate the attention given to their specialized offerings, such as Pour Over coffee, while tea lovers have a rich selection of premium loose-leaf options. The menu is an adventure for the palate, featuring everything from classic favorites to unique flavor combinations. For example, the extensive tea list includes unique options like the Earl Grey Moonlight, Jasmine Dragon Pearls, and the intriguing Macaron À La Pêche blend, alongside standards like Chamomile and Peppermint. Their willingness to experiment with unique flavors—from a Strawberry Basil Cake to a more classic Opera Cake—demonstrates their creative spirit and desire to offer an unforgettable gourmet experience.
The atmosphere is another major draw. The new, spacious location in Fells Point is intentionally designed to be a comfortable gathering place. Whether you're meeting friends, enjoying a first date, or simply seeking a beautifully appointed space to enjoy a quiet moment, the chic and cozy interior is a welcoming retreat. Furthermore, by choosing Sacré Sucré, you are supporting a local, dedicated Latinx- and LGBTQ+-owned business that adds significant cultural and culinary value to the Baltimore community. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The presentation on the bakery items were top tier and they tasted good as well. The service was great. They had a variety of teas and coffees. I got the hojicha latte which tasted too sweet for me but my husband enjoyed it. I liked that most of their sandwiches were on sourdough bread. They also sell their sourdough and baguettes. Definitely a must try if you’re in this area. The parking can be difficult on a Saturday since the farmers market is going on.
September 27 · Ana RiosOne of my favorite spots. Beautiful space, amazing cakes, and the croissant is perfect.Always puts me in a good mood./Cappuccino with lovely “4 July” latte art— made my morning! Looked beautiful, tasted even better. The croissant was perfectly flaky.🥐☕️Just one small thing—the pour-over lid was chipped. Hope it gets replaced for safety. Other than that, I really enjoyed everything. Definitely coming back!
July 05 · PSacre Sucré in Fells Point is a hidden gem that deserves its flowers. This pastry studio turned café and tea haven is redefining what true craftsmanship tastes like. From delicate macarons to buttery, golden viennoiseries, every piece is a masterclass in flavor and finesse. And of course they serve specialty coffee from some of the most respected roasters in the U.S. like Regalia and Prodigal. Each cup is dialed in with precision, flavor profiles on point, and brewed with the same passion that goes into their pastries. It’s more than dessert it’s an experience. If you’re in Baltimore and you haven’t been… you’re missing out.
April 22 · Iven Brylle BersalunaSaw this place on IG and took my mom. Exceeded my expectations. I had the Black Forest Petit Gateau,it was rich, creamy absolutely delicious!!! And the service was wonderful. I will definitely be back
September 03 · Cody FlowersWhat a gem in Fells Point! Coffee is delicious, staff is super friendly and the pastries (and all food for that matter) is REALLY good. It’s a great spot to work from, hang with friends, or read a book with a nice cup of tea. Very spacious and bright inside. I highly recommend the breakfast sandwhich - their croissants are incredible! My latte was awesome, so definitely try a coffee. They also have a vast variety of interesting herbal and caffeinated teas. Make this a must-stop when you want something sweet in Fells Point, Baltimore!
