★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Really delicious cookies. Stopped by on their first day at this location and they seem like they know what they’re doing right off the bat. If a flavor was out, they had warm, fresh cookies coming right out to replace them. The banana chocolate chip cookie was excellent. Gooey on the inside crispy on the outside, perfect banana slice bites throughout. The inside was warm and melty. Almost like a warm cookie skillet. So good. The chocolate chip cookie was also tasty but didn’t compare to the banana chocolate chip which was fantastic. I think they will do well in this location. They make a great strong iced latte too (they use Devocion I think which is one of my favorites). Also love their packaging- very cute boxes and in them the cookies would make a nice gift.
July 19 · the bbI was so incredibly excited to see that Cookie Odyssey opened on the UES. It’s been on my list for a while and I couldn’t wait to go. I went on their opening day and I have to say I was very disappointed.First the cookie display - the cookies aren’t organized all together neatly. You can see in the pic, the chocolate walnut is in with their infamous chocolate chip banana. I’m sure especially if something has nuts they shouldn’t be mixed in w the others.Cookie packaging - the woman who helped me just threw the three cookies I got into a small box and they weren’t all facing upright. Literally no care for packaging these beauties for the customer. Then she asked me if I wanted the box taped. Weird question but I said no. Then I realized the three cookies don’t really fit in the boxes they have so it doesn’t close all the way. They shouldn’t ask customers, they should do it. Or get boxes that fit wheat you’re selling - they offer a three mini cookie deal.Cookie taste - everything was mushy. It was almost like they didn’t cook them all the way but not in a good way. I got the chocolate chip walnut, the chocolate chunk banana and the oatmeal raisin which broke in the box because of the sloppy packaging. The oatmeal cookie only had one raisin but it didn’t really matter because there wasn’t any flavor. There is so much cookie competition on the UES, I hope they put more care into baking, displaying and packaging their product. I also hope they take more care into what we don’t see in the kitchen than what they put on display for the customers.
July 20 · Carly PisarriGreat cookie! Great staff! Can’t wait to come back. An awesome neighborhood addition!
