Yen Bakery Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For residents of California, particularly those frequenting the renowned Little Saigon district in Westminster, Yen Bakery represents an essential culinary destination. More than just a traditional bakery, this establishment has skillfully combined the demand for authentic Vietnamese baked goods and sandwiches with a modern, specialty tea and fruit drink experience, largely driven by the partnership or location of AAZA Tea within its walls. As one customer noted, the popular tea house is "located inside a banhmi shop but oh man, the fruit teas are BOMB!" This hybrid approach makes Yen Bakery a one-stop-shop for a complete Vietnamese-style meal or snack, whether you're craving a savory lunch, a fluffy steamed bun, or a refreshing, fruit-packed beverage.
Yen Bakery's menu is an expansive showcase of Vietnamese cuisine's diversity. It features a wide variety of Bánh Mì (sandwiches), freshly prepared Steamed Buns with diverse fillings, and an array of traditional desserts and savory "Others" like Phá Lấu (a type of stewed offal) and Vietnamese Beef Stew. Simultaneously, the drinks side—spearheaded by the highly-praised AAZA collection—offers an impressive selection of Oolong Milk Teas, specialty Matchas, and seasonal real fruit blends that perfectly cater to California's love for innovative, refreshing beverages. Patrons who have experienced the quality rave about the drinks, describing them as "spectacular" and "like drinking fruit in a cup," confirming that the establishment maintains "perfection" in quality. Whether you're seeking a quick, authentic breakfast or a place to relax and enjoy a flavorful specialty drink, Yen Bakery offers a large space and a friendly atmosphere right in the heart of Orange County's Vietnamese community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1AAZA is BACK!!AAZA and I am ultra excited! They are celebrating this weekend with a Grand Opening Special May 17-18 BOGO FREE All Drinks . Their fresh fruit tea and blends are spectacular. Here are some of their amazing must order fruit drinks!⭐️ Grapefruit Summer⭐️ Coconut Jackfruit Pandan⭐️ Mango Coco Pomelo⭐️ Passion Fruit Orange⭐️ Avocado Coco JackfruitFYI this tea house is located inside a banhmi shop but oh man, the fruit teas are BOMB! I was an ultra fan when they opened in Downey and I am still. The quality is still perfection. It’s like drinking fruit in a cup .
May 14 · Bonnie SintuvatRight in the heart of Little Saigon, AAZA Tea is a hidden gem with a huge space and plenty of indoor seating — perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. I tried the Grapefruit Summer Signature and absolutely loved it! Super refreshing, fruity, and bursting with flavor. The entire Summer Signature Series is worth exploring. Highly recommend!
May 14 · PHOEBE CHENA traumatic experience. The shop is a banh mi place that also sells boba drinks called 'Aaza'. The menu makes it seem like they have a large range of drinks, but they actually only have a couple in each category. My sister and I were disappointed to see that they didn't have any flavored teas, which is what we always get.* Mango Coco Pomelo: 8/10 - real mango fruit* Passion Fruit Orange: 7/10 - couldn't taste the passionfruit flavor so mostly orange* Boba: 8/10 - soft and chewyWhile my sister was waiting in line to order the drinks, my mom needed to use the restroom really badly. However, in order to use it at all, we needed a receipt to prove that we were customers. We're completely fine with that, but there were about 10 people in front of us and the line was not moving at all. We pointed to my sister who was waiting in line and promised to show them our receipt afterwards, but they still wouldn't let my mom use the restroom. How ridiculous.Another thing we found annoying was how they couldn't adjust the drinks. We just didn't want them to add any garnishes or fruit slices to the drink, but they refused. We found it weird considering it would actually SAVE THEM MONEY not having to add it to our drinks, but okay. The layout of the shop itself was also really unusual. Although they have a beautiful mural on the wall, they only had a couple of normal tables and chairs on the right side while the rest of the place was scattered with cheap, plastic, short chairs. I think the goal was to make the customers feel like they were in Vietnam, but it was just uncomfortable. They're definitely way too low for the older adults and I have no idea how anyone wearing a dress would be able to sit down. Considering how easily you can kick the chairs and the 'tables' were just wooden boards on top of the plastic chairs, it's a lawsuit waiting to happen. After waiting for what felt like forever to order, we also had to wait an additional 15 minutes for our drinks. When they finally came, it was only 1 and we had to wait for them to finish the other drink. When it finally came out, they forgot to add the boba that we paid for so we had to wait an additional couple of minutes. We interacted with 3 workers during our visit there and 2/3 of them were rude. They looked like the owners since they weren't wearing the uniforms and hats that the other workers were wearing.I understand that they just opened, but a couple of things to keep in mind when coming to the shop:- You need the receipt in order to use the restroom- Adjustments cannot be made to your drink whatsoever- Seating is very uncomfortable- Waited in line for 20 minutes to order and 15 minutes to pick up our drinks- Owners were rudeDon’t think we’ll be coming back.
May 21 · Lauren DangI went for the BOGO opening weekend. The cashier was an older lady, she was nice. I got 50% sweetness for my drink and it was good for me; but for the typical person, full sweetness would probably taste better. The little chè jellies in the drink is an intriguing Vietnamese touch, I didn’t expect it.By the way, the building doesn’t have an official sign outside yet so I was a little confused.
May 18 · Yenni H (YENN1FER)The store opens at 10am but the BOGO promotion is not until 11am. It doesn’t make sense! They are also out of avocado in the morning of their grand opening…
