★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Best place to get pastries in the area! I’ve been here several times and the pastries are always amazing!.The taste and texture of them is really good. They remind me of ones I’ve had in Portugal. SUPER flavorful, but not overly sweet. They’re all amazing but my favorites are the orange, rice, and pasteis de nata.
August 01 · ThenaToday I tried - 3 Flags Bakery - for the first time. Being December, the weather is blustery today, and the smell of warm fresh bread was so comforting. The place is filled with mostly Portuguese baked goods, and all of it looked tempting and delicious. I saw a little glass case with what looked like small rolls inside... I asked the lady what they were and she told me that it was “chorice bread” ...they looked so good; I had to try one... It looked great, it was warm and it smelled awesome. The bread was filled with chorice (Portuguese sausage) and it was fantastic! I can’t wait to come back again and try something else!Update: I went back... they had these little empanada looking things; steak, chicken, ham and cheese.. I got one of each. All of them were super good! I also tried a “Sumol”, which is some kind of soft drink from Portugal... I got the orange flavor, so good too! I’m definitely loving this place!

May 02 · M PMy go to bakery for Portuguese rolls and doughboys. They make an amazing walnut pound cake which is loaded inside and on top with nuts. It’s baked in an angel food cake pan. It’s delicious. The people working there are always helpful. I make a huge strawberry shortcake using the plain pond cake. So moist. Like every place else, prices have gone up but you get decent product for your money. You have to call ahead for the walnut cake. The don’t always have it. I think it’s mostly on the weekend. If you cover it, it will stay moist for 5 days if it lasts that long.
February 17 · Sandra CoyleThis place is so non-descript, that you tend to forget that it's there. But I stopped in today, ordered Portuguese soup, a linguica pie, and I chose a blueberry tart from the mouthwatering array of pastries. Everything was spot on and the wonderful proprietor has roots in the Azore Islands where my grandfather was born. Highly recommended, I'd give it 10 stars if that was an option. Not easy to spot, but it is on the Central Falls side of the Broad St. bridge.
