What is worth choosing
For any California local looking for a standout breakfast experience, 5th Ave Donuts provides compelling reasons to visit. What truly makes this spot a worthwhile choice is the blend of exceptional product variety and the commitment to friendly service, which many customers have specifically highlighted in their positive reviews.
The most significant draw is the breadth of the menu. Unlike other simple donut shops, 5th Ave Donuts has elevated their offerings to function as a full-service cafe. You can satisfy a deep sugar craving with a whimsical Fruity Pebbles Donut ($2.75) or a rich Chocolate Custard Cream ($1.95), then immediately switch gears to a substantial, savory breakfast. The Hash Brown Meats Combo sandwich ($10.99) is a morning powerhouse, combining bacon, sausage, egg, cheese, a hash brown, and avocado—a perfect choice for those with a big day ahead. The option to choose between a bagel or a flaky croissant for any sandwich also provides a customizable, fresh-made feel that elevates the experience beyond typical fast food.
Another key choice factor is the quality of their classic pastry selection. While the specialty donuts grab attention, the traditional items are consistently praised. For a simple but perfect treat, the classic dozen donut mix ($18.00) offers an assortment of six raised and six cake donuts, ideal for family gatherings or office sharing. Meanwhile, the Maple Bacon specialty donut is a highly recommended indulgence that showcases the bakery’s ability to execute a popular, contemporary flavor trend with precision.
For beverage enthusiasts, the cafe’s diverse coffee and specialty drink menu is a reason alone to visit. While some customers may have a nostalgic expectation for a specific Vietnamese iced coffee flavor, the menu does offer exciting, modern options like the Brown Sugar Tiger ($6.99) and various milk teas and fruit teas, providing a refreshing alternative to standard drip coffee. The affordability and range of hot drinks, including the classic Coffee ($2.75), Mocha Cappuccino ($3.95), and Hot Chocolate ($2.99), ensure that any morning commute or afternoon break is well-caffeinated and enjoyable.
In summary, the reason to choose 5th Ave Donuts is its duality as both a classic donut shop and a modern, full-scale breakfast cafe. It’s a local establishment that combines sweet and savory excellence, offers convenient service options like takeout and delivery, and provides a vast selection of high-quality, freshly prepared items, making it an essential stop in Corona, CA.

5th Ave Donuts Reviews
breakfastbagelsvietnamese coffee
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I just moved back out to corona from Orange County last Sunday. I wanted to try this place because of the pics of the specialty donuts and Vietnamese coffee. It’s something I usually get in bolsa and was excited to try it since I’m half Vietnamese and would love to have a place that’s so close and makes it well. I ordered 2 breakfast croissant sandwiches, a large chocolate sprinkle donut, pink sprinkled donut, a maple and chocolate bar, a viet coffee and apple juice. Spent $31. It was a Tuesday at like 0930. I’m thinking it was because of the time I went that not much was on display donut wise. And I didn’t see a single specialty donut out. I was a little confused by that..I also don’t frequent donut shops often…but I’d think you’d display items that would entice people more no? Anyway, I got home and ate one of the sandwiches with my kids. The croissant felt overheated bc it was hardened the bacon was super dry there wasn’t enough mayo and the egg was bland. My ice coffee also didn’t taste like what I’m used to by far. I was disappointed to say the least. The lady behind the counter was super nice tho. Glad this place is nostalgic for a few, but it’s not that great. Donuts were decent tho. I’ll just continue my search for an overall GOOD donut place 🙃
July 09 · Felicia “Feli”Best donut shop in SOCAL. The owner is super kind, and there is a lady that works here that is incredibly nice and efficient. Love this place my everyday breakfast go to!
July 14 · Luis HurtadoMy usual donut shop after moving to Corona. They make fresh donuts everyday, along with blueberry cake donuts on Fri and Sat morning (if they don't run out by 7a).Best part is they make FRESH Vietnamese coffee, coming from the bay area this stuff must be fresh!
November 05 · Joel BorresGreat California style Donuts!
August 25 · Eric DegenThe donuts, pastries, and bagels here are so flavorful and delicious! Unlike other donuts, these donuts leave you feeling happy, satisfied, and ready to start your day. They’re not heavy at all. The pastries are soft and savory, they’re even better if you ask to have them warmed. Would 100% recommend, definitely coming back when we’re in town!
