I really love the aesthetic of 85 Degrees Bakery — the food looks so appealing and well presented. I’ve tried some of their sweets before and really enjoyed them. This time, I decided to try something different and got the ham and cheese bread at the Sherman Oaks location in the mall.It was surprisingly good! The bread had ham and cheese inside, and on top, there was a sweet cream topping that I’m not exactly sure what it’s called, but it added a unique twist. You definitely taste the ham and cheese, but the sweet topping makes it an interesting mix — very different, but I liked it a lot.The staff there are also super friendly, which makes it a perfect spot for dining in or grabbing an afternoon snack. I always like going back to try something new.For this ham and cheese bread, I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars — the sweet topping is good but a bit unusual for my taste.

In general, I wouldn’t recommend 85°C drinks to people. This is also a note to myself to stop buying drinks from 85°C. I feel like if you wanna have a drink you might as well get em at Starbucks or a tea place, because drinks at those places are more authentic more natural, better made!However, they have affordable, pastries, and bread and dessert here, check them out!

I stopped by this 85C Bakery this morning to get my wife her jalapeno cheese bread. I been to this 85C Bakery before but haven't in a while because they open at the mall time and not earlier. So today, I just walked around the mall before they open since I came early. When they finally started opening the store, I was the first customer inside. I got my wife her jalapeno cheese bread because they will sell out quick since it's popular. This store isn't that big compared to the one in Northridge but it works for them. They have some seats inside the mall and also outdoor as well. The employees are nice and will answer any questions you have. After I got my wife her bread, I went to walk around the mall for a bit but then my uncle asked for a cheesecake so I came back to 85C. I didn't see any single slice of cheesecake so I got him the Macchiato Cream cake. He really liked this cake so it was a good choice so I never got it before.

My wife wanted a Black Forest Cake for her birthday. She is extremely picky when it comes to this cake. She found it wonderful. That means they did a fantastic job on the cake for her to say she would buy from them. Big win!

They have the slowest drink makers here, takes 10 minutes to make a simple drink, the baristas here disappear into the back and come out surprised that they have half a dozen orders waiting for them. Manager has to fix this, I've been here several times and it's all the same, they're lucky there isn't a Paris Baquette in the mall. If they move any slower a parked car would out run them.
