Should be zero stars. This company (Mike) was hired to do the Chimney at my house while I was in the process of purchasing it. After 1 year of trying to have a fire and 3 failures, I had the Chimney inspected. Turns out he did nothing to fix it and even left it as a fire hazard. MY HOUSE COULD OF CAUGHT FIRE. The Chimney inspection deemed it NOT USABLE. This man was paid 3200.00 and left it dirty, the wrong liner was put it, not secured so it could slip down the chimney at any time, nothing is correct. Pictures are attached. From my first phone call with this guy, I didnt like him. Hes unprofessional, lies, doesnt return calls and does a terrible job. His website shows a totally different company than he portrays. DONT HIRE THIS company, you will be sorry. I will have to pay $2800.00 if I want this fixed correctly.

Shame on me as I should have read the reviews first. As I am another person he scammed and kept my partial down payment. Hired to reset pavers and replace the poly sand. He had one of his guys show up to power wash and did a pour job as he was there totally a little over an hour. Same guy showed up a couple of days later to just put the poly sand in. He knew nothing of resetting the pavers. He called Mike the owner and Mike said he wasn’t doing the pavers. The original estimate was $1800 to reset pavers and replace the poly sand. He kept the $600 cash I paid as a deposit. Never returned our agreed $400.

We hired affordable masonry for an emergency job at my parents house which consisted of rebuilding top portion of the chimney and reclining the flew. Job came out nice passed inspection by pseng. No complaints here. I read the negative reviews and Michael explained that's its coming from a person that he's been having problems with for the past 10 years.

This is the worst contractor I’ve ever met. Chicken scratch written proposals, very hard to understand when he speaks. Gave him $3200 to do a complete chimney overhaul with a new liner. The entire thing was installed improperly, black smoke billowing out the chimney and fireplace when it’s in use. Refuses to return phone calls .

I called for an issue that didn't get fixed. I had a leak in my basement near my chimney. I was advised he knew of the issue and would fix it. They patched up the chimney but I wanted confirmation that this would fix my issue. But it did not. And now I can't seem to get a clear answer on some type of refund.
