- Heartwarming Backstory and Family Ownership: The bakery is owned by Youssef Akhtarini and his family, Syrian refugees who rebuilt their lives in Providence and brought their culinary heritage with them. This inspiring story adds a profound layer of meaning to every visit, connecting customers to a powerful narrative of resilience and cultural preservation.
- Warm and Inviting Atmosphere: The interior is described as having "lavish ornate styles" reminiscent of the Middle East, with "gold designs, cushions, and elaborate patterns," creating a beautiful and cozy environment. Reviewers suggest it's a "perfect place to grab a coffee and treat to catchup with someone," implying a comfortable and welcoming space.
