Its location near Gate 36 means it serves a constant flow of travelers right before or immediately after their flight.
In the context of an airport, accessibility takes on a specialized meaning. DFW Airport is, by necessity, a facility designed to accommodate millions of people with diverse mobility needs, and Auntie Anne's adheres to these high standards. Once airside, the entire terminal is designed for accessibility, ensuring a smooth path from security to Gate 36 and the Auntie Anne's counter. For a quick food stop within the confines of airside travel, this level of accessibility is paramount for smooth travel logistics.

Given the unique, high-traffic environment of DFW Airport, the services offered by Auntie Anne's are laser-focused on speed and traveler convenience. The options are designed to minimize delays and maximize the ability of patrons to quickly secure their order before moving on to their gates.
In-store pickup: This is an essential feature for time-conscious travelers. It allows DFW passengers or airport employees to potentially place an order via a service or app before arriving, ensuring their pretzel or pretzel bites are ready the moment they reach the counter. This minimizes dwell time and is critical when navigating the tight schedules of air travel.
In-store shopping: This service represents the standard quick-service experience. Patrons can browse the available selection, place their order directly at the counter, and receive their freshly baked item immediately. This traditional approach is vital for spontaneous purchases during a short layover or a delay near Gate 36.
Takeout: Since this location is within the airport's secure area, all sales are essentially Takeout. The product is intended to be consumed on the go, whether at the gate, on the airplane, or while waiting for connecting transport. This service option underscores the portable, quick-snack nature of Auntie Anne's offerings.
These focused service options support the fundamental need for speed and convenience that defines the retail experience inside DFW, ensuring a simple, efficient transaction for travelers.

The operational highlights of the Auntie Anne’s DFW location are tailored to the demands of airport clientele, offering modern flexibility and high speed.
Optimized for Quick Visit Planning: The entire setup and service flow are geared toward facilitating a Quick visit. This feature is perhaps the most valuable for a traveler; it means the staff, the counter arrangement, and the food preparation times are focused on getting the customer served and on their way rapidly, fitting perfectly into short airport windows.
Modern Payment Flexibility: Recognizing that travelers carry different forms of payment and often rely on digital options, the bakery accepts a wide range of modern methods. Patrons can easily pay using Credit cards, Debit cards, and modern NFC mobile payments (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay). This flexibility is paramount in an international hub like DFW, ensuring currency conversion or cash on hand is not a barrier to a quick purchase.
Accessibility Compliance: Full Wheelchair accessible entrance ensures that the counter is reachable by all patrons navigating the large terminal space. While the Wheelchair accessible parking lot refers to the larger airport infrastructure, it reassures travelers that the overall journey to the terminal is supported by accessibility standards.
The Core Product Focus: Although not explicitly listed in the amenities, the inherent highlight of any Auntie Anne's is the focus on freshly baked pretzels and pretzel bites, which serve as a savory, filling, and easily consumable meal alternative or snack for travel. This specific product focus makes it a reliable stop for those craving a non-standard fast-food item.
These features ensure that the Auntie Anne's experience at DFW is not only convenient but also fully aligned with the expectations of modern, mobile-savvy travelers who prioritize speed and efficiency in their airport stops.

Choosing Auntie Anne's in DFW Terminal D is a highly practical decision for Texas travelers looking for a quick, satisfying, and familiar snack before or after a flight. The primary reasons for selection are centered on its location and operational efficiency. Situated airside near Gate 36, it is optimally placed for last-minute food purchases. The services, particularly the focus on Takeout and In-store pickup, alongside the Quick visit planning, perfectly meet the logistical constraints of air travel. The acceptance of all major Credit cards, Debit cards, and NFC mobile payments further eliminates transaction friction for global travelers.
However, patrons should set balanced expectations based on the nature of airport food service and customer feedback. While one reviewer emphatically praised the establishment, stating the pretzels and bites are "awesome" and the staff is "very friendly and helpful," another reviewer noted significant quality control issues, specifically regarding cinnamon pretzel bites lacking seasoning and not tasting fresh despite a morning purchase. This indicates that while the staff service is often excellent, as noted by patrons, the quality and freshness of the product can occasionally be inconsistent, a reality sometimes faced by high-volume airport concessions.
In conclusion, if a Texas traveler needs a fast, easily consumable, soft-baked product and prioritizes the convenience of a Quick visit with flexible modern payments within the highly accessible DFW Terminal D, Auntie Anne's at Gate 36 is a reliably located and efficiently run option. It provides a comforting, recognized brand experience tailored perfectly to the tight schedules and demands of airport life.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bought cinnamon pretzel bites and not one tasted like they had cinnamon on it, to the point where I’d pick them up and not even get cinnamon on my fingers. Not at all what I expected and they didn’t taste fresh even though they were ordered around 7 am.
September 17 · Aly PellockThis place is awesome! The pretzels and pretzel bites are awesome! The hot cheese dip is the stuff you would die for! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Thanks for all that you do, keep up the good work!
July 06 · ChadilacDon't go there if you want actual salted pretzel or a jalapeno pretzel I haven't seen one of those in about 2 years. In the morning there is one or two breakfast sandwiches. They definitely know how to make pigs in a blanket because it's more expensive and they have the passenger traffic trapped because that's all they have 99% of the time.
July 08 · Art PearsonSept 15, 2024- The Auntie Annie’s located in Terminal C.There were 2 employees wearing black headwraps. 1 is nice and has excellent customer service but the other older employee did not seem to speak english nor have any customer service. After ordering and waiting. The mini sausage rolls were soggy with oil. During the payment, I showed them my Meal Voucher from the Airline- compensation for delaying my flight for more 5 hours. They were confused on how to work the machine and enter the voucher- it has all the information on it and yet they could not figure it out and told me to pay. That is ridiculous. The nice employee is younger and was being “taught” by an older lady who has a stank look on her face. Its not the voucher that doesn’t work. Its you not knowing how to use POS.And Im not sure why they made it extra soggy and greasy? That is disappointing.
September 15 · MorganAbsolute dreadful service. My pretzel was coldI requested light ice on my drink and it was like I was asking for a brand new car.Paying 1.3 million dollars for airport food, at least it could be good.
