A non-profit bakery on a mission to bring nutrition to food desserts in Washington, D.C., this is their first brick and mortar storefront. Located in a strip mall in Trinidad, there's a small lot in front of the shop. Walk inside into a spacious, space with salmon-colored tiles. The owner and staff are friendly and brew Blacknerd Coffee, a Black-owned roastery from Vienna, Virginia. They make breakfast sandwiches and an array of pastries from cookies to banana bread. For a hearty breakfast, order the breakfast biscuit sandwich with sausage. It comes with an egg and cheese. It's very filling!

Stopped by for a quick breakfast and ordered two biscuit sandwiches and a blueberry muffin; all three were amazing!! You can tell they make bread/pastries from scratch because the flavors and textures are immaculate! Also, the workers were very nice and polite.
