Brooklyn Water Bagel Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For many in Florida, the quest for an authentic, crispy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside New York-style bagel can be a challenging one. That is where Brooklyn Water Bagel steps in, aiming to bring a genuine taste of the Northeast to the Sunshine State, specifically for residents and visitors in the Wesley Chapel region. Far more than just a bagel shop, this establishment functions as a full-service bakery, breakfast, and lunch restaurant, and a dedicated coffee shop, making it a versatile local spot for all your daily cravings.
The core of their concept revolves around what they call 'Brooklynized®' water. Recognizing that the unique mineral composition of the water flowing from the Catskill Mountains into New York City is often credited for the distinctive taste and texture of New York bagels, Brooklyn Water Bagel invested in a proprietary water treatment system, known as "Brooklyn Water Works." This advanced technology filters local Florida water down to its purest state and then replicates the specific mineral content of the revered Brooklyn water. This 'Brooklynized' water is then used in every aspect of their process—from boiling the bagels to brewing their coffee—in an effort to ensure a consistent, traditional New York bagel experience, no matter the distance from the original source.
Located conveniently in Wesley Chapel, this spot offers a relaxed yet energetic atmosphere typical of a classic neighborhood deli and bakery. Whether you are looking to grab a quick bite before work, enjoy a leisurely weekend breakfast, or pick up a hearty sandwich for lunch, Brooklyn Water Bagel offers a comprehensive menu that goes well beyond the basic bagel and cream cheese. The types of food and services offered—Bagel shop, Bakery, Breakfast restaurant, Coffee shop, Deli, and Lunch restaurant—speak to its broad appeal as a comprehensive and quick-visit dining destination.

The quick-service model—complete with delivery, takeout, and in-store pickup options—is perfectly suited for the fast-paced lives of Florida commuters and families, making it easy to grab a quality meal without a long wait. Furthermore, the combination of a bakery, deli, and full-service coffee shop means it serves multiple needs in one convenient location.
The overall convenience is a major draw. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have visited 3 times over the last two years. I was very disappointed the first time but gave it a second chance, and was disappointed again, but still decided to give a third and final try.First off, the concept and idea is great as a northerner. Love the concept and idea actually, however anyone from New Jersey or New York knows even with a line out the door the service should be quick. Why? Because it’s about taking care of the customer. But that’s not why I’m not thrilled. The main reason is the food. The bagels and “hard rolls” are not authentic and have very poor taste. If you get one roasted it’ll be half burnt and half undercooked. If you get a sandwich like the Jersey Boy with Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese, you will be very disappointed in the quality of the meat, the portion and size of the meat, and just the sandwich overall.Any real NY or NJ deli will have at least a normal decent size of meat on the sandwich, not a paper thin piece folded over to make it look like 3 pieces. This has happened on every visit. $8.00 for a breakfast sandwich is crazy but if it had a decent amount of meat I wouldn’t mind. Guys, more egg than meat is just crazy. I can’t even taste the meat. So for fun I pulled the stamp size of meat off the sandwich and tasted it and it was bland. Not sure what brand you are using but it’s not being cooked right if it is quality.Guys you can do better. I don’t normally post reviews but after having 3 disappointing experiences it needed to be said. Service is very robotic and no customer service. Also can you at least cut the sandwich ALL THE WAY THROUGH?!
June 29 · Alex KutI was craving a bagel and coffee for Sunday breakfast, so I stopped by Brooklyn Water Bagel. From the variety of options available, I ordered an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, along with a black coffee.I received my order quickly, and the jalapeño cream cheese paired perfectly with the fresh bagel. I enjoyed every bite while sipping on my black coffee.A bagel and coffee from Brooklyn Water Bagel made for a perfect, satisfying breakfast.
July 12 · nishant narulaTheir everything bagels are everything! And their coffee bar is epic. As an introvert, it’s a bit overwhelming because there’s so much going on, especially when you haven’t quite woken up yet, but the staff of very nice, patient and helpful. I do wish the bagels were more toasted but will ask for it to be double or triple toasted time and then my sausage, egg and cheese bagel sandwich willl be perfection.
July 21 · Jessica ChateauGreat bagels! And they have Powerade. McDonald’s bagel with ham + Powerade was my brunch combo until McD’s stopped selling Powerade. Glad I can still catch this combo here!
September 23 · Marius PolluxFood probably would be fine if they gave us our order correctly - we ordered a blueberry bagel with peanut butter to go but didn’t receive the peanut butter. We came in 15 mins to closing and the guy at the register (tall, tan, curly hair) was so rude as if he was just done with his shift and didn’t want to work anymore. I asked him a simple question and instead of responding, he was silently pointing.
