Brunch Supply Introduce
Brunch Supply has quickly established itself as an essential, high-quality destination for baked goods in the heart of Baltimore, Maryland. Positioned in the charming and historic Upper Fells Point neighborhood, this establishment is a dedicated micro-bakery that specializes in handcrafted, weekend-focused pastries, breads, and breakfast essentials. Identifying proudly as a women-owned, small business, Brunch Supply is built on the passion of a dedicated husband-and-wife team, Andy Bruhns and Glenna Morgan, embodying the true spirit of a local "mom and pop" operation.
The bakery’s mission is clear: to be the one-stop shop for everything needed to make a weekend brunch spectacular, hence the name, which hints at a curated "closet Williams-Sonoma, but just for brunch stuff." While firmly rooted as a bakery and pastry shop, it expands its offering by functioning as a gourmet grocery store, providing retail offerings alongside its freshly baked goods. Maryland locals appreciate the friendly, neighborhood atmosphere found within the storefront, which features exposed brick walls and an open kitchen, adding to the cozy, authentic baking experience. Customers consistently praise the perfect balance between consistent staple items—like classic cinnamon rolls—and fun, new creative offerings that rotate weekly, always emphasizing the quality and fresh ingredients that define a true artisan bakery. The reputation for selling out quickly is a testament to the exceptional quality and high demand for their limited-run, scratch-made goods.
Brunch Supply is strategically located in a high-traffic, yet distinctly local, corner of Baltimore, ensuring strong neighborhood support and relative ease of access for residents across the city and surrounding Maryland areas.
The specific address is:
300 S Ann St, Baltimore, MD 21231, USA
Situated at the corner of Ann and Gough streets in Upper Fells Point, the bakery is deep within one of Baltimore's most historically and culturally rich neighborhoods. This location is easily accessible by foot for local residents, especially those living near the waterfront and in the surrounding historic districts. For customers driving in from other parts of Maryland, the establishment thoughtfully provides information regarding free street parking, a significant advantage in the often congested Fells Point area. The business structure is geared toward a quick visit, which makes running in for a pastry or picking up a pre-order highly convenient. Furthermore, for those unable to visit in person, Brunch Supply offers extensive service options including Delivery, In-store pickup, and Takeout, ensuring their delicious goods are available to the wider Baltimore-Maryland community.
The primary storefront hours are limited, catering specifically to the weekend brunch crowd: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, typically opening at 7:00 AM and often closing by 12:00 PM, or whenever they sell out. This emphasis on quality over quantity drives local customers to plan their weekend visits accordingly.
Brunch Supply offers a curated and specialized set of services designed to provide the highest quality baked goods and related items, focusing heavily on the weekend ritual of brunch.
- Micro-Bakery Retail: Daily baking and sales of a rotating menu of sweet and savory pastries, buns, and breads, available only during limited weekend hours (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, subject to selling out).
- Pre-Ordering Services: Customers can pre-order some of the most popular and in-demand menu items, which is essential for guaranteeing favorite goods like Babka or Cinnamon Buns, particularly during busy weekend mornings.
- Gourmet Grocery / Retail Offerings: Beyond baked goods, the shop serves as a gourmet grocery, offering a selection of retail items related to brunch and cooking, aligning with their vision of a specialty 'brunch' store.
- Beverage Service: While new to the scene, plans are in place to expand offerings to include fresh coffee and tea service, which will perfectly complement their breakfast and pastry selections.
- Takeout and Local Delivery: Offering multiple convenient options for obtaining food, including in-store pickup, traditional takeout, and local delivery services, catering to the modern Maryland consumer.
- Community Commitment: The business demonstrates a commitment to the local Baltimore community by taking any extra, unsold bread and pastries to a local mission, minimizing waste and supporting those in need.
Brunch Supply distinguishes itself from other Baltimore bakeries and pastry shops through several key features that resonate strongly with the local Maryland clientele.
- Creative and Rotating Menu: A major draw is the dynamic menu that features staple items alongside weekly, inventive specials. Examples include the popular Vanilla-Cardamom Bun (a Nordic inspiration), Mooncake-inspired Black Sesame Milk Tea Morning Buns, and various unique Kolache and Scone flavors.
- Signature Savory Offerings: The bakery stands out for its savory options, particularly the Cheddar Scallion Scone (a signature item) and the Shao Bing, a Taiwanese savory breakfast flatbread that offers a unique flavor profile to the Baltimore breakfast scene.
- Cereal-Milk Buns: A fun and popular specialty is the cereal-milk bun, a creative morning bun made with milk infused with popular breakfast cereals like Fruity Pebbles or Cocoa Puffs, a nod to modern pastry trends.
- Women-Owned, Small Business Ethos: The business’s status as a women-owned, small, "mom and pop" shop fosters a strong connection with the Fells Point community, making it a highly supported local enterprise in Baltimore.
- High-Quality Base Products: The bakery is known for quality ingredients and classic offerings, such as the rich, buttery Cinnamon Babka and the soft, squishy Baltimore Bap rolls, perfect for making local breakfast sandwiches.
- High Demand and Limited Production: Operating as a micro-bakery with limited hours creates an urgency and appeal, ensuring all items are exceptionally fresh, forcing customers to get there early for the best selection.

When Maryland locals make the trip to Brunch Supply in Fells Point, they are guaranteed a fresh, high-quality experience. To make the most of a quick visit, several items stand out as must-try choices.
First and foremost, you must try one of their signature, sweet buns. The Cinnamon Bun is a classic favorite, beloved by customers for its perfect balance of cinnamon-sugar butter and white glaze. However, for a unique twist, the Vanilla-Cardamom Bun offers a fantastic, aromatic Nordic alternative. The customer review highlighting the "blueberry maple roll" also suggests that their rotational sweet buns are exceptional and worth grabbing immediately.
Secondly, be sure to pick up a savory item to balance the sweetness. The Cheddar Scallion Scone is a signature must-try, offering a rich, savory counterpoint to the buttery pastries. For a truly unique Baltimore breakfast item, grab the Shao Bing, their take on a Taiwanese savory flatbread, which is perfect to eat alone or to use as the base for a homemade sandwich later.
Finally, if you are planning to host or bring a gift, the Cinnamon Babka is highly recommended. Loaded with butter, cinnamon, and sugar, it makes an excellent item for a hostess gift or a decadent piece of French toast. Given the limited inventory, locals should always check for the weekly special and arrive early to ensure they secure their favorites from this beloved women-owned micro-bakery.

July 03 · Greg SmithFriday, I found out about this great place!! I walked down from my school and was not disappointed. It smelled amazing when I walked through the doors. Andy was friendly and welcoming. I picked up a sourdough loaf, cinnamon roll, and spanakopita roll. Delicious!! My husband wants me to pick up a loaf of bread every Friday. I can't wait for a coffee option. It's nice to have a great place in the area.
