★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very cozy and bright. The desserts are beautiful and there is lots to choose from. I gave it 3 stars for the food because the coffees and hot chocolate need a bout of TLC. Other than that, give it try 😉
May 29 · Sharine MadooI went there recently and has an iced coffee and sancocho with a lunch plate. The service was great as the girls behind the counter as well as the owner of the establishment were kind and attentive. The food was great and the ambiance was great. The cake was amazing also. I highly recommend this to anyone who may want a quick lunch or a treat to take home to the family!
July 11 · Patrick BurbanoVisited this bakery on a Sunday afternoon. Seemingly very popular as many people were going in and out. The cakes all look very nice, I decided to get the 3 leches and my friend got the tiramisu. We both enjoyed the cake, moist and flavorful. I found the 3 leches had a strong hint of nutmeg (if I’m identifying the correct spice) and I really liked that. The portion size for the cake is big which I liked.I asked a few times prior to ordering the empanada if the chicken empanada had potato and was reassured there wasn’t any. To my surprise there was, but the staff did apologize. I then decided to order the spinach empanada with a side of maduros. The empanada was alright, a bit hard/inedible on certain parts due to sitting out and being reheated I believe. The maduros had the same issue. I also ordered a coco limade, I haven’t had them in the states but fell in love with the drink while in Colombia. Wasn’t a big fan of the of how it tasted here, overly sweet and artificial tasting.Overall, the food was okay, the star was the desserts.
February 02 · Hak BénI stopped in on my way home tonight and ordered the chocolate layer cake. Absolutely not fresh whatsoever.... I am very disappointed to have spent $9 on an old piece of cake. I love to support a small business, however since the business is so small, there should be no reason to sell an old slice of cake. It's a real shame! If the chocolate cake is not popular and you rarely sell it, then just remove it from the menu.
July 08 · Alicia GiddingsPlace is beautiful, me and my mom’s first time visiting here and everything was awful. The slice of cake that was already half eaten by us, realized there’s MOLD. I went to the counter to let the employees know, they only said “sorry” no other words and let us be, so I had to ask for a different one. She made me wait to finish few ppl that was on the line trying to order, and when I asked if she can get my replacement cake.. she gave me an attitude, looked at me with two big eye balls and told me to “wait”. And at the end I wanted to bring my other left over cakes home, asked for a Togo box, they asked me to pay 50 cent they won’t give it to me if I don’t pay for it. 50 cent is obviously affordable lol but that’s not the point, after all the bad experiences and still wanted us to pay for a Togo box ? Those employees shouldn’t be working at hospitality. I own a restaurant in California and I would hate to hear customers had bad experience in my business, so I hope this review can help to lighten things up for the future.
