★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Really delicious sourdough bread. I got the buttered wheat and a plain loaf, and they were both really delicious, the right amount of sour and saltiness. I did prefer the plain rather than the buttered wheat, I think the sourdough taste was more pronounced. The "store" is a cabinet on the side of the road in front of this ladies farm, and when I got there on Friday around 11, the case was pretty full. Payment is cash or check, I believe, put in a box next to the cabinet. As I was leaving, the lady came out to stock some more bread, and it was nice to see and talk to the person who made these wonderful loaves.Easy to find, convenient and there's even a picnic table if you want to dig in right away.
August 08 · Leslie SmithCute little home bakery just across the bridge from Winona. Wednesday evenings 1700-2000, they serve the bread hot from the oven for your consumption. Multiple varieties for your palate and all that we tried were excellent! We purchased Buttered Wheat, Cinnamon Raisin, Spelt and White. I am not too experienced eating sourdough, but WOW does it taste really good! I have to lean towards the cinnamon raisin as my favorite, then the Spelt. Buttered Wheat is a bit too strong for me- I had a sweeter flavor in my brain when I purchased it. We will be regular customers whenever we are in the neighborhood. Super caring family business and a lot creating an excellent product. Hope they continued success.
July 12 · ChadwickThe bread was incredible and the goats are so adorable!! Make sure to come early to grab a loaf.Thank you amazing Bread Lady!!
June 20 · Freya ElizabethThe sour dough bread is great and worth the drive. If they are closed they have a little hit by the road full of bread to buy. Pay at a honor box.
September 24 · Betsy ClarkCute little stop on our way up the River road. Stop early they were out when we arrived around 2.
