Ceremonia Bakeshop Introduce
In the vibrant and ever-evolving food scene of New York City, a true gem is a place that feels both classic and completely new. Ceremonia Bakeshop, nestled in the heart of Brooklyn’s bustling Williamsburg neighborhood, has managed to do just that. It has carved out a special place for itself not just as a bakery, but as a local institution known for its impeccable baked goods and, perhaps surprisingly, its legendary breakfast burrito. This family-owned and operated establishment has built its reputation on a foundation of quality ingredients, creative flavors, and a genuine passion for food that you can taste in every bite.
What makes Ceremonia Bakeshop stand out is its dual identity. While it is undoubtedly a top-tier bakery, with an impressive selection of pastries that are both visually stunning and delicious, it’s the savory side of their menu that has captured the hearts and stomachs of many New Yorkers. The breakfast burrito has achieved a near-mythical status, drawing customers from all over the city who are willing to wait for a taste. This is a testament to the shop's ability to excel in multiple culinary arenas, proving that a baker’s touch can bring magic to more than just pastries. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, reflecting its family-owned roots, and the dedicated staff ensures every visitor feels welcome, even when the line stretches out the door.
This establishment’s success is built on more than just hype; it's a result of a commitment to using high-quality, fresh ingredients and infusing traditional recipes with new and exciting influences. Their baked goods are praised for being flavorful without being overly sweet or heavy, a refreshing change from many other bakeries. From the texture of their butter mochi to the perfect balance of chocolate and sea salt in their cookies, Ceremonia Bakeshop consistently delivers a memorable experience that keeps locals coming back for more. It’s a place where every item on the menu feels carefully crafted and thoughtfully executed.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I waited about 20 minutes to order and 15 to get my burrito but it was totally worth it. I added avocado. Absolutely delicious!! The salsa that came with it was perfect as well. Also grabbed a cookie. One of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve had in NYC! I think it’s worthy the hype
June 11 · Leela MorrisThe baked goods here are relatively underrated (compared to their burrito!) and are some of the best in NYC in my opinion. They’re not too heavy/sweet and the flavors are fresh and bright.I loved the ube butter mochi (perfect texture!) and the white chocolate raspberry cookie.
July 12 · Irene Zhao10/10 every time. This place has become a staple in our weekly routine. The burrito and the (southern gf approved) biscuit are amazing if you’re looking for brunch items. And for pastries, our favorites are the mochis, the citrus olive cake, and any cookie.Lastly, the people who work here are the nicest and have so much patience even though they are constantly mobbed. What more could you ask for out of your neighborhood bakery?
June 01 · Jed KassFinally got around to trying the viral breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint!! I got to the Ceremonia around 7:50am and was eager to be able to find street parking rather easy ( an nyc win if you ask me). I ordered a breakfast burrito, chocolate chip cookie & an iced latte! The burrito was perfection- and the portion was amazing, definitely a bang for your buck. I only managed to eat half and saved the rest for later. The cookie and the latte were a great sweet treat after ! Besides the food, the staff was extremely friendly & helpful. It was a very welcoming environment ! Overall 10/10 experience ! Will definitely be coming again
March 14 · Erika RiveraBe prepared to wait for the brekky burrito! It was good, definitely filling. I also had the cinnamon roll which was a great size for the price. I loved it! Nice vibe in the space and great service. Looking forward to trying the biscuit next time!
