★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1An atmosphere of jamaican patty delicacy with lots of customers, the lady at the front was quick to orders. However, the Jamaican patties were mediocre. Chicken curry patty’s filling lacked chicken and mushy, while the beef patty’s filling was dry beef. For the price of $3+ per patty I find it pricey.
January 21 · p4ndyI shared a photo below.. Lady at counter is good (not typical) iykyk. Spent 130$ 4 dozen meat filled patties and some veggie. As you can see the curried patty had nothing but patty shell.. smh. My last visit I was shorted 4 patties .. absolutely ridiculous.. so count your patties and count your blessings that you'll get meat inside the patty.. not acceptable 😒. When meat inside the patties are decent tho
May 09 · Claudia CeeMy review is based on the Spicy Beef Patties. A coworker told me about this place. Another coworker, who's Jamaican confirmed it's the best. I grew up on patties and have tasted so many different types. But I abandoned the other places lol across the street for this place. The amount of meat in the patties is amazing. I have not been disappointed. And the coco bread, oh my. I rarely get it but it was so warm and delicious I had too.
July 06 · Nikon Photog Girl“When they’re on, you just can’t stop at one.”It’s easy for popular spots to lose the spark that made them great, rushing product and sacrificing quality. From my experience, Charlie’s Jamaican patties went through that phase but have bounced back—reminding me of their 80s glory days. The Jerk Chicken patties are my favorite, with a flaky crust and a rich, spicy filling that’s absolutely addictive when done right. The only issue? Consistency. Some days it’s perfect; others, it misses the mark. Once you’ve nailed the recipe for your Jerk Chicken patties, locking in that formula every time, no matter who’s making them, would keep the authentic Jamaican flavor strong and reliable—crucial for great branding. What I truly value is that Charlie’s patties don’t contain that jelly-like filler many others use to bulk up their products. Even on occasional off days, Charlie’s Pastries’ patties surpasses the competition in many ways.
August 09 · GingerWow these are some of the best Jamaican patties i have ever had! 🇯🇲I tried the delicious curry shrimp patty and the spicy meat loaf which was hot but oh so good with that beautiful fluffy bread 🍞 big shout out to Charlie Jr and his staff for the great work!
