Cleo Bagels made me fall in love with bialys! I’ve never had one before and now I am hooked.I got the garlic za’atar bialy with egg and cheese. So simple yet so delicious. I love that its thinner than a bagel but has a nice crispiness to it. It almost reminds me of a cross between an english muffin and a bagel. The flavors were there and the egg was cooked perfectly. Fluffy and not a weird texture.I will absolutely be coming back in the future!

I judge bagels on the seeds and this place delivered. Every variety was covered with them.We tried a full dozen and every one had a nice crunch with a chewy inside. They had a ramen breakfast sandwich that was out of this world.

I ordered the greens, deens and beans. Really good sandwich! I also ordered the philly special and a plain bagel for later. Staff was friendly and nice. They had chairs outside and inside to sit.Street parking wasn't bad.

The breakfast sandwich that dreams are made of. Got the special — lox, local goat cheese, lemony arugula goodness on a garlic za’atar bialy. Perfectly dressed arugula and perfectly balanced sandwich — lovely acidity from the lemon, salty bites from the lox, creamy hits from the goat cheese. Also the bialy is truly the ideal vehicle — thin enough that you can bite into the sandwich without the components spilling everywhere, while still being hearty and filling and flavorful. I will honestly think about this sandwich for a long time to come. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!

Many have told me The Ramen Thing may be the best sandwich in Philly. I’m not sure I’d go that far, but it was 10/10 amazing. All the bagels were delicious. I’m from Jersey and don’t enjoy a lot of bagels in the city (looking at you Kismet 🤮) but Cleo stands a step above the rest. Great bagels, great staff, great place. I’d go here everyday if I lived closer.
