Cookie Break Introduce
In the dynamic and ever-evolving culinary landscape of Washington State, sometimes the simplest pleasures offer the greatest satisfaction. Cookie Break, nestled in the vibrant Northeast Seattle neighborhood, has rapidly established itself as a must-visit destination for anyone in the Puget Sound region seeking truly exceptional baked goods. This is not just another chain shop; it is a dedicated, local business specializing in the art of the perfect cookie. It has drawn significant attention from local residents who seek out a specific, high-quality style of dessert—a thick, substantial, and deeply satisfying treat. For Washington users looking to support local, especially women-owned enterprises, and who demand superior quality in their indulgences, Cookie Break offers a compelling, delightful answer.
The core identity of Cookie Break is defined by its commitment to a specific, highly desirable cookie profile: thick, chunky, and possessing a satisfying crispness, often served warm with gooey, melted chocolate. This stands in sharp contrast to the thinner, softer varieties commonly found elsewhere, immediately setting this shop apart in the competitive Seattle dessert scene. The reputation for delivering this specific texture and warmth, even via delivery, speaks volumes about the care and passion poured into every batch. This focused dedication to a superior product is what has turned first-time visitors who "stumbled upon" the shop into enthusiastic, loyal patrons across the Washington region. The shop is a place of inspiration, embodying the entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in the Pacific Northwest.
Location and Accessibility: Northeast Seattle’s Sweet Spot

Cookie Break Reviews
chocolate chiparea
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I googled “cookies” and after perusing through the usual chain shops that I’ve tried and never been fully satisfied with, I stumbled upon this shop I had never heard of! As soon as I saw the photos I KNEW these were different. I like a thick, chunky, crispy cookie, not a thin soft one. These looked PERFECT.I called her right away and placed an order. An hour later, I had a beautiful box of cookies in my hands. She even threw in an extra chocolate chip when I ordered the 6 cookie variety pack!!When I opened the box and bit into the chocolate chip, it was still warm, it was gooey, the chocolate was melted. It was fresh out the oven. If your mouth is watering, place an order right now!!! They’re as good as you’re imagining!!My favorite: the brownie!I absolutely love how this woman is running her business. She’s very inspiring to me, as a hobbyist baker who’s considered selling my cookies before! I might just try it after doing business with her :)
June 04 · Laurel PalmerDelicious fat fluffy cookies. They kindly made a custom cookie ice cream cake (hard to find in Seattle!) for us that was very good
July 17 · Barbara LamNeeded a killer dessert for a fundraiser! The ladies (and cookies!) at Cookie Break could not have been better! They coordinated their bag labels with our fundraising theme (so cool!), delivered everything to the venue early and fresh (cookies were so soft and still kinda gooey!) and set it up beautifully, complete with tiered stands and little signs. Could not have been happier and the guests absolutely gushed about the cookies. Way better than any dessert buffet!
October 16 · Sarah MenasheWish I got 4 so I could have another one. Santa is one lucky MFer to stop here every year for free cookies. The Classic Chocolate Chip 🍪 was satisfyingly crisped with a soft perfectly baked center, not leaving a mess of crumbs behind. The chocolate chips had a low melting point, becoming creamy and easy to enjoy. If only I had a small carton of milk to pair it with. Packaged with care and personalized, if you're in the area, this is a great way to experience the heart warming nostalgia of home baked cookies enjoyed as a child.
October 24 · William JohnsonSuch a great hidden gem in the Ravenna area. Not only is the process & packaging great, but the cookies are OMG amazing. Thank you for putting out such a treasure!
