Cookies and Cream Pastry Shop Introduce
In the charming and tree-lined neighborhood of Kew Gardens, Queens, a local spot for sweet treats and special occasion desserts can be found at Cookies and Cream Pastry Shop. This establishment aims to be a go-to destination for residents looking to celebrate holidays, birthdays, or simply satisfy a craving for a delicious pastry. As a local business, it holds a unique place in the community, providing a specialized service for those who appreciate a good dessert. The shop's offerings, particularly its cakes, have garnered attention from patrons, and its reputation is built on a foundation of both high praise and critical feedback.
The reviews from real customers paint a picture of a business that excels in some areas while facing challenges in others. On one hand, there is effusive praise for specific items, such as the pistachio mousse cake. This dessert is described in glowing terms, with one reviewer calling it "divinely enchanting, mouthwatering must have experience to taste!!!" The freshness and deliciousness of this particular cake suggest that when Cookies and Cream Pastry Shop hits the mark, it does so with spectacular results. This kind of positive feedback is a powerful driver for a local business, as it creates a must-try item that brings in new and repeat customers. The description of it being a "place to come back to with friends or family" highlights its potential to be a central part of local social gatherings and holiday traditions.
However, the experience is not universally perfect. A contrasting review about a strawberry shortcake reveals that customer expectations for quality and taste, especially at a higher price point, are not always met. The cake was described as "dry brittle" and "overloaded with sugary jam" instead of real strawberries, leading to disappointment. This kind of feedback is important for potential customers, as it suggests that the quality of offerings may vary, and that some items may not live up to the visual appeal or price tag. It also highlights the importance of consistency for a business that wants to be a trusted resource for special occasions.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bought a $50 strawberry shortcake for a special occasion and was honestly disappointed. For that price, I expected real strawberries, not a dry brittle cake overloaded with sugary jam. It looked nice, but the quality and taste didn’t match the price. Should’ve just gone with Tous Les Jours as always.
June 26 · Sanji AzadA place that is one of the best places to visit in Kew Gardens with your family for the holidays and enjoy your favorite dessert!!! 😍 The pistachio mousse cake is divinely enchanting, mouthwatering must have experience to taste!!! It was so fresh and delicious, one of the best appetizing desserts to flavor, definitely a place to come back to with friends or family 👌🎈👌✨️🎊
December 07 · Angelic CrownMy boyfriend and I’ve come here a couple of times for cake slices. They have a great selection and everything we’ve had is soooo good! I highly recommend the 7 Layer Chocolate Cake. I think I’ll want a slice (or a whole cake!) for my birthday this year!
June 06 · Cristine BowmanI discovered this little spot coming from an appointment. I love trying new pastry shops so I decided to give them a try. Service was good. They offer a decent selection of fresh baked cookies and cakes. I opted to try a few slices of their cheese cakes & some cookies and a tart 😎 I also got a what I believe was the Nutella frozen cappuccino mmmmmh. It was delicious. As for the cookies, I can pass on. I didn’t find them sweet enough for my taste buds. They didn’t taste bad just not what I thought they would taste like. The cheese cake was delicious as well. They also offer breakfast sandwiches made to order and a decent beverage selection. Lastly they have a cute little seating outsideDefinitely a good spot to try if your in the neighborhood
September 15 · Nonna StarrEverything was wonderful about this place, the environment, the staff and the pastries. Bought my mom a Birthday Cake and she can't stop raving how wonderful the cake was. I'm extremely satisfied. A returning customer.
