Consistently Inconsistent. Where is the cream cheese?? Never know what quality the breakfast sandwiches will be, minimal to sufficient cream cheese, thin or regular size bagels no matter what you order. I saw an employee sneeze on the food today, he turned his head from food in front of him and sneezed on a whole rack of bagels. I’ve been an Einstein fan for at least 20 years in another state but this one needs some help. Do better Einstein Bros.

Einstein’s still makes a solid bagel sandwich. My go-to is the Chorizo Sunrise on a Green Chile bagel (their best bagel, in my opinion), though I wish they’d offer salsa instead of avocado—it’d be less messy and more flavorful. The jalapeño salsa cream cheese is my favorite spread by far—if you like a little heat, it’s a must-try. Eggs are freshly cooked and you can choose 1 or 2 eggs, which is a nice option.Service during my visit was chaotic, but mostly because of unusual circumstances—a customer issue about a double charge slowed everything down. The young manager did his best under pressure, and even though orders were delayed, I appreciated his effort. The cashier, who seemed to be on the autism spectrum, was kind and even got a laugh out of a customer—small moments like that matter.Price is on the high side (my sandwich and coffee came to about $13), but there are ways to make it worth it:Pro tip: After your first mobile order, you get a free coffee on your next app order.Monday deal: Dozen bagels for $9.Overall: Tasty food, some great staff moments, but be prepared for a higher price point.

The Maple House Egg Sandwich was sweet, but not overly so. The Santa Fe Egg White Sandwich was tasty. The bagels were soft. Both were warm to touch. The cashier could have been friendlier. There’s outdoor seating. Inside, there was a lack of seating, possibly because I arrived an hour and a half before closing time.

I have given this store more than enough chances to get my order correct, all I want is a plain bagel with regular spread, ham and Swiss cheese, not toasted. Every time it’s messed up, today I went in, the guy took my order, he seemed to understand, I repeated it, he said I got it, well my fault for not looking yet again, got it, it was toasted, no spread on it. I give up on this time place. Time to find a new breakfast spot.
