★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I used to come in once in a blue moon to treat myself, but stopped after they had a B rating for about a year & a ½ or so. A few weeks ago they got an A again, yay!A few items seem to have gone up in price by a 10 or more cents, but honestly the prices are still cheap & a great price for the quality & tastieness of these quick bites that are deceptively very filling! My favorite buy is the hot roast pork bun, but I see a lot of people like the sandwiches & taro puffs. The bubble teas aren't "wow! that's cheap!" BUT are still affordable & definitely lower prices than in most bubble tea specialty or Asian cafes, especially the more unique orders like the Red Bean Milk Tea Slushie I ordered in my last visit (7/4/25), which you can see in the picture. It was $6.50 for a good big sized cup that I have seen be $8~9 in many places in Queens & Manhattan. It had a subtle taro flavor to it, a nice surprise. The service is efficient. Not friendly & pretending to have a chat with you, but still basic courtesy & honestly that doesn't bother me, I think it actually lends into the swift service. It is a very simple no frills grab & go place - if you want something with more attentive service, this isn't the place for you. That being said, I was offered the very cute bag in my last visit as I had a lot of purchased items so I really appreciated that! 🤗 I had never seen the bag before & I love Fay Da, I'd love to rep a local chain that staffs immigrant moms & grandmothers!!The one improvement that can & should be made about the atmosphere is cleanliness in the seating area. It doesn't get gross, but it does get a bit dirty very quickly.
July 07 · Annita EleanorOrdered a tiramisu cake. The cream tastes like Twinkie, cheap and waxy. It is NOT worth $42 for 6 inch cakes. Avoid it.
July 11 · Amy CFay Da is always a great place to grab great food for an inexpensive price. They have many locations but what I specifically like about this one is that they are well stocked with popular items throughout the day. Other chains will sell out in the morning/early afternoon, but this location will still have my favorites in the evening. The staff is very sweet, and I love that people from all different backgrounds come here to sit and enjoy their food.If you happen to pass by, you can never go wrong with their beef curry puff. The mango mochi is also a good refreshing treat that’s not too sweet!
June 16 · Jaylene NunezClean, organized, and fresh all the timeAnd the best fast serviceDecent prices also compare to the good quality
April 17 · Sara SoltanMy sister and I have been into the store many times and the last time there was to buy vegetable meat buns, and milk tea. The food was wonderful. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was that there were lots of people there eating, drinking, reading newspaper or doing something else.
