There were about 15 people in line, I thought maybe it won't be too bad. But people buy them by the dozens so I didn't get mine until an hour later...Yes when it's piping hot of course it's good! It has the most filling I've ever seen but the crust was so overcooked. Yeesh $45 for a dozen...poor unwitting tourists. I walked down to AA Bakery and their egg tart was just as comparable.

The crust was thin and crispy and egg custard was very creamy and moist. The coconut tart was filled with shredded coconut but moist and not too sweet. I like the egg custard better and I would definitely recommend that one!!

The custard tart from Golden Gate Bakery is $3.75, which is a little pricey, and it's not my type, so we won't revisit again.
