Gourmandise is the exception- I had French country stew and it was delicious, flavorful broth, tender chunks of beef, bits of butternut squash, all surrounding a hillock of mashed potatoes. For about $16 it was very reasonable and a glass of Malbec for $10 made a satisfying meal. Service was prompt and friendly and the environment less noisy than the rest of the airport.
September 09 · Barry MitchellYesterday, our flight with my wife from Vegas to NYC was surprisingly cancelled but rescheduled for the next day. Yet, with our new itinerary, our rebooked flight to NYC allowed us to fly into Salt Lake City, Utah. Although we traveled first-class (thanks Delta) for this connecting flight to JFK, our first trip to Utah allowed us to visit Goumandise Euro Diner Bakery in Terminal B of this newly-renovated airport. Inside this cafe, the decor is quite nice plus the lunch options were unbelievably tasty and enjoyable. But…I must say their desserts (go to their website and read about their history) were eye-popping delicious. I strongly recommend this location. But, finally not only delicious food but it’s about the people you meet in your everyday life. Jennifer, our host/server was an absolute joy. She was attentive, sweet and I felt like she was a long-time friend I hadn’t seen in years. Along with my wife, this is the reason I plan to one day make a trip back to this historic gem in Utah. The desserts are truly award-winning. Take this review from a native New Yorker who knows good food and mouth-watering desserts. Stop by….Enjoy!!! And thanks again Jennifer.
July 26 · Daniel TorresJust stopped in on a layover and thank you Goirmandise! I just wanted to grab a healthy snack; the avocado toast on a baguette was excellent! The baguette was soft and fresh and the flavors were perfectly crafted. I also ordered a caramel coconut milk latte and it was so smoothe and lovely. They also had soooo many desert offerings, but I opted out this morning and will return sometime down the road......Highly recommend!
June 27 · Jeremy DStopped by Gourmandise in the slc airport and it did not disappoint! I had the chicken curry sandwich on the croissant and it was so fresh and delicious tasting! My server Alejandro was amazing and made the experience that much better! The deserts were delicious as well! Definitely stop by Gourmandise if you’re flying out of the B gates!
