I used to frequent Hi Rise when it was on Mass Ave pre-pandemic. I loved the Thai iced tea and blueberry scone. 5+ years later, I finally made my way over to the Huron village location, and I'll definitely be back soon! The Thai iced tea was just as I remembered -- very aromatic and perfectly sweet. I'd come back just for this unique and delicious drink.Unfortunately they didn't have the blueberry scone (I wasn't expecting it, since it said it was sold out on the website). We tried the small chocolate fallen cake ($10) which I thought was a bit too sweet. We also got the ham, butter, and Swiss lunchie ($8), which is a very thin and long sandwich. It was delicious! The bread has a slight crisp on the outside, and is wonderfully chewy. The filling to bread ratio is pretty great. I'd get this again -- very satisfying. There are also a lot of fruit preserves and packaged cookies that look really good and would make good gifts. I'll be back! - Gloria Ha

Hi-Rise Bread Company is conveniently located at **208 Concord Ave, Cambridge, MA 02138, USA**. This address places it within the charming Huron Village area of West Cambridge, a residential neighborhood known for its local businesses, quiet streets, and community-oriented feel. While it's slightly off the main thoroughfares compared to its previous Mass Ave location, it remains highly accessible for residents of Cambridge and nearby towns in Massachusetts.

The accessibility of this location is favorable:

  • Walking and Biking: Huron Village is a very walkable and bike-friendly neighborhood. Many local residents can easily reach the bakery on foot or by bike, making it a convenient stop for daily needs or leisurely outings. Its presence within a residential area makes it a true neighborhood gem.

These routes connect to major subway lines (like the Red Line at Harvard Square), making it reachable for those relying on public transit from other parts of Cambridge and Boston.
  • Driving and Parking: Concord Avenue offers street parking, and given the more residential nature of the area compared to bustling city centers, finding parking might be somewhat easier than in denser commercial districts. This makes it a feasible option for customers driving in from other parts of Cambridge or surrounding Massachusetts towns.

The location in Huron Village gives Hi-Rise a distinct local charm, contributing to its "rustic yet refined local marketplace vibe" and making it a cherished spot for its immediate community and those willing to make the short trip for its acclaimed offerings.
