I was initially excited to place an order at this location because it's close to my home. I ordered a week in advance, expecting everything to be ready as scheduled. When I arrived an hour early on the pickup date, I was told my order wasn’t ready yet—which was fine, so I returned at the scheduled time. To my disappointment, I found out that a significant part of my order, a tray of pineapple dessert—hadn’t even been started. I had to cancel that part of the order and only took the cake home.Unfortunately, things only got worse. The cake was leaning to one side, clearly not refrigerated or set properly. The cake and filling was dry, none of my guests would eat it. I ended up throwing the entire cake in the trash. That’s $95 dollars down the drain. Honestly, I’ve had better cakes from Walmart’s bakery. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Ok I’m usually disappointed with Mexican bakeries because most things end up being dry, too sweet or bland. I got one bakery I like but it’s far from my house so hearing of this one right down the street from me, I had to try. There is a limited selection of bread but the fact that it’s all made in small batches helps to ensure things are fresh when you get them. Every piece my family tried was moist, not overly sweet and had good flavor. Will be back for sure! 👍🏽

I ordered Tirimasu for my son's graduation party. It was absolutely beautiful and the taste was amazing! The service was wonderful! We will be ordering from them again! I highly recommend R & J Bakery!

CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH! I am a teacher, and I had been looking for a bakery to place an order for conchas for my students. I was not having any luck, and then I stopped by J&R Bakery. The owner took my order for 30 choncha at 4:00 pm and they were ready to pick up before school the next morning. The owner was so incredibly kind when working with me. She was patience and understanding, even complimenting my emerging spanish skills! The conchas were delicious, a reasonable price, and not to mention HUGE! They were light and soft with just a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. For all of my future bakery orders, I will only be going here! Thank you J&R Bakery for saving the day and helping create a special memory for my students!
