★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Easily one of the best bakeries in the city. A few friends and I tried 4 vegetarian savory items and 5 sweet treats. We were dazzled by each one. The flavors are unique and delicious, and the presentation and attention to detail is impressive. Highly recommend!!
September 14 · Kira RoseYummmmm. The sponge is as good as the British murder mysteries make it look. The battenberg is amazing. Next time I’ll get there at 11 so I can try a sausage roll!
May 14 · Laura MusikanskiThe best British Bakery I’ve been to outside of the UK. The Bakewell slice is divine and the base is crispy perfection. Definitely go on a weekend to get a sausage roll. Proper good. Grab a millionaire shortbread as well. Highly recommend and will be back! Everything is made with such care and perfection.
February 04 · Ruth MuellerI want to shout out Lá Liath Bakery in Wallingford! 🌈🎂 I first heard about Lá Liath from a Facebook group. I reached out right away and ordered a cake for my best friend's birthday.Well… on the day of the party, I completely mixed up their hours and showed up after they had closed at 2pm. 😩 I emailed them in a panic, and to my surprise and deep gratitude, the owner coordinated with one of their bakers, Cooper, who drove back to the bakery just to meet me and give me the cake. Thanks to the kindness and above-and-beyond effort of the Lá Liath team, I was able to show up to the party with the most beautiful birthday cake my friend said she's has ever had. 🥹❤️Support local businesses this month (and always!)—they’re out here creating magic.✨
August 05 · Hannah RushMy wife is British so we had to give this place a try. Sure enough, this place received thumbs up from her! The rhubarb crumble was delicious, not too sweet or overbearing but done perfectly and the battenberg cake was also excellent. One of the best British bakery we’ve been to outside of UK. Definitely will be back for more!
