★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If you’re on the hunt for the almond croissant that sets the bar—this is it. I wasn’t expecting to be blown away, but WOW. Even cold, the layers were still perfectly flaky and buttery, like it had just come out of the oven. The filling? Rich, balanced, not overly sweet—just the right amount of that almond paste magic. Generous sliced almonds on top, a dusting of powdered sugar, and little caramelized edges that gave it the perfect chew and crunch in every bite. It’s the kind of pastry that stops you mid-sentence and makes you say “wait… what is this?!”If you love croissants, this one’s a game-changer. Run, don’t walk.
May 04 · MaryamAbsolutely love Mademoiselle Colette in Palo Alto! I had the Salmon Benedict — perfectly made, rich in flavor, and beautifully plated. The French toast was hands down one of the best I’ve had — soft, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. I also tried a few of their pastries, and every single one was delightful. This place never makes you regret your choice. A perfect spot for a cozy and delicious French-inspired breakfast or brunch. Highly recommend!
March 30 · Shahab Sassan⭐️⭐️⭐️=Standard (1-Avoid, 3-Standard, 5-Can't Miss!) Having a hard time giving this place a rating because there wasn't anything that made me want to go back. Croissants, as described by other reviewers, seem to be hit or miss depending on the time of day and what batch you get. The desserts are very pricey, but fall in line with south bay prices so can't complain about how expensive they are when that's just the market we live in. I've had some of their brunch items at the Redwood City location and can say that the food offerings, at least with dine in, are good, but if you're strictly going for the laminated pastries, I'd say you can find better croissants on a consistent basis in the city.
July 27 · Mark KA bit pricey, but great variety of pastries, drinks, and can always find seating. Also good for brunch. Recommend for small groups or one on one dates. Will be back to try more brunch items!
August 10 · Sandy DiaoThe best cup of cappuccino of all the coffees in the lower Bay Area. We come here every weekend for brunch and when we try others we regret it. That is on top of the best almond croissant in the US and so many other delicious bites.
