Mi Casita Bakery Introduce
In the vibrant and diverse neighborhood of Corona, Queens, where culinary traditions from around the world converge, Mi Casita Bakery stands out as a beloved destination for authentic Colombian food and baked goods. For New Yorkers, a bakery that offers a true taste of a different culture is a treasure. Mi Casita, which means "my little house," offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that lives up to its name, making it feel like a cozy, homey spot right in the heart of the city. This bakery is more than just a place for pastries; it's a full-service eatery where you can get a "fantastic coffee & lunch," and discover new flavors. The dedication to providing a genuine Colombian experience, from the savory empanadas to the aromatic coffee, has made it a favorite among locals and even those visiting from out of town.
The customer experience at Mi Casita Bakery is often a mix of rave reviews about the food and occasional feedback on the service. A visitor from North Carolina, who praised the bakery for its "fantastic coffee & lunch," also highlighted the "very friendly & helpful staff." They were particularly grateful for the kindness shown, especially since they don't speak Spanish, noting that even "the nice customers helped me too." This speaks to a strong sense of community and a genuinely welcoming environment. The same review raves about the "awesome" green sauce that goes with the empanadas and a "wonderful" Colombian roll with cheese, demonstrating the high quality and distinct flavor of the food. However, another review noted a less-than-ideal service experience, mentioning a staff member who was "not attentive" and seemed "more concerned on closing." The review also pointed out a lack of a mask worn properly and a situation where another customer was served first. While this is a clear area for improvement, the fact that the reviewer still stated the "Food was good" indicates a strong foundation in the quality of their offerings. This mix of reviews paints a picture of a busy, popular spot where the food is consistently a highlight, even when service can sometimes be inconsistent.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Food was good, but the service wasn't the greatest. Person taking our order was not attentive, she seemed more concerned on closing or settling the cash register, paid little attention to what we were ordering, we asked about 3 times for lemon with our order, we still never got it. The person in line behind us was served quickly and before us by another attendant. Most of all, she had her face mask below her nose the whole time.
February 09 · Del UrdinaFantastic coffee & lunch! Very friendly & helpful staff. Especially since I'm from North Carolina and don't speak spanish. The nice customers helped me too. They have a green sauce that goes with the empanadas that is awesome; I would buy it by the quart! And a Columbian roll with cheese that is not sweet that is wonderful. Definitely will go back next time I'm in NYC
May 24 · Erica LubaThis store lost its value. Cashiers are always talking never paying attention. The prices they charge are different from the menu. Pretty sure that's false advertisement. Always giving burnt flavor coffee
November 21 · Diana LopezBest coffee and food. Literally perfect. First day back in NYC in YEARS and I was blessed to stumble here. Thank you for that experience 😭💗
October 22 · Guile G.Completely ignored by this very rude staff. The food was okay but the lack of respect they have for their customers has ensured that I will not be coming back.
