August 26 · Cristina Millan (Elicious)It had been a while since we got bread from this bakery, and only to be disappointed. Bakery looks clean but now they offer other items like tamales, tortas and even chilaquiles. It feels more like a restaurant. Maybe this is why their bread has suffered in quality. I grabbed some of the small cinnamon cookies 3for $2 ones and they had no good flavor and was hard to bite. They were at least a day old. I was there around 10 am so I was expecting better. Also, I got a pumpkin empanada for my husband and that was not good and hardly any filling inside. The bolillos were OK, not crispy price was ok, 0.75 cents a piece.I payed with card and the lady that helped me said it was fine and my total was $8.50 . She forgot to mention she added $1 for paying with card. I know some places charge, but they usually tell you.I won’t be going back mainly because of the quality of their bread.Service was good, though.
May 25 · R. R.It’s exactly what you expect and hope that a Mexican panadería will be like. The bread is what your Tia used to give you when you came to visit her house over the holidays. The champurrado is what your abuelita used to make when you still couldn’t even pronounce it. And the atmosphere reminds you of an authentic Mexican panadería in Mexico. You can’t do better than The Mill in all of Orange County.
