Mochinut Bayshore Introduce
Mochinut Bayshore: A Fusion Dessert Experience in Glendale, WI
Mochinut Bayshore is not your average Wisconsin Donut Shop; it represents a vibrant fusion of global culinary trends, bringing the highly popular Mochi donut and Korean-style hot dogs (K-Dogs) to the Glendale and Greater Milwaukee area. Positioned as both a specialty bakery and a casual Cafe, Mochinut offers a unique, aesthetic, and chewy alternative to traditional sweet treats.
The star of the show is the Mochi Donut. Unlike a traditional yeast or cake donut, the Mochi Donut is made with glutinous rice flour, which gives it a distinctive, light, and wonderfully chewy texture—a characteristic often described as 'bouncy' or 'mochi consistency.' They are instantly recognizable by their signature eight-ball shape and are offered in a rotation of creative, eye-catching glazes and toppings, ensuring there is always something new to try. While one customer review noted that the flavor was "a little short," they quickly added that the texture was awesome and kinda made up for that, highlighting the unique structural appeal of the product.
Mochinut is a complete cultural dessert experience. Beyond the sweets, the shop also serves savory Korean rice flour hot dogs, known as KDogs, along with a large selection of premium Boba Tea and authentic Vietnamese Coffee. This combination of sweet, savory, and specialty beverages makes it a perfect destination for a unique meal, a dessert stop, or a late-afternoon pick-me-up. For local Wisconsin users seeking a fresh, trendy, and genuinely different food experience, Mochinut Bayshore is a must-visit spot. The business proudly Identifies as Asian-owned and women-owned, adding another layer of community support to your choice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Super aesthetic shop! Customer service was good, and we got our donuts really quick. They looked really pleasing to the eye, but fell a little short on taste. I wish they had more flavor. BUT, the texture was awesome and kinda made up for that!
September 08 · Maria WattersIt’s been a few months since I stopped in. Wow! Things have changed for the worse. The food still tastes good but the place was DIRTY!!!! Toilet didn’t flush and there was paper everywhere since the trash hadn’t been emptied. The floors in the dining area were really scuffed up from the chairs. Though the workers were friendly, the kitchen was staff was super slow. It took them 25 minutes to fry two corn dogs. I know because I looked at the timestamp on the receipt. At the time, we were the only customers ordering. There were two people ahead who looked like they had been waiting for awhile. The one guy only ordered one corn dog when they brought out his order. Can’t imagine what the held up was.
January 18 · Northshore LightThe donuts have improved since they opened, and I like that the actual pastry isn’t too sweet— allowing for much more indulgent toppings. The tea is okay but not excellent, and the korean corn dogs are similarly good but nothing to write home about. However, service is wonderful— Claire at the Bayshore location is an absolute joy! Personable, funny, and on top of things. We like her very much. :)
May 15 · pyx headManager explained that they had higher volume for grand opening and shortly after. So if anybody has came already and not had the best experience, please come back and give them another try. Donuts were awesome light and fluffy different texture than the ones you get elsewhere (in a good way). I tried each donut the other week and loved the matcha and the hot cocoa ones! I tried the ube boba and was happy with such a cute cup it comes in! Will be coming back soon for more but also to try the corn dogs when that is available :)Only personal downside was my boba seemed to big to go through straw but I made it work. Thanks!
July 10 · AmberNot just plain donuts... These are different, so don't go in expecting a cake donut. These are a little chewier, since they are made from glutenous rice. Flavors are light, not overpowered. Not greasy. Good change of pace, and I want to try more flavors.Had donuts (mochi balls, small donuts, weren't available), and a half/half Korean dog. Half hot dog, half mozzarella cheese, dipped in a crunchy batter. Batter is a little sweet, I wish the cheese was slightly salty, but it was good nonetheless.Had bubble tea, which was also good.Being new, they were swamped, but the staff was handling it well. Friendly staff. Try the Fat Milk, which is Vietnamese coffee and condensed milk. That was very tasty and a good alternative to a Starbucks.$6 for boba, $6.25 for the dogs, donuts were 3/$10. Pricey? A bit, but it's also a novelty too.. and the quality of the staff was worth it.I'll come back. I want to get the coffee and try some different flavors.
