March 16 · Serra AnoThe sesame seed balls are thick and not much sweet red bean paste, but the taste is acceptable. The mango pudding is very sweet but the coconut pudding has the right amount of sugar…
November 12 · H MTypical pick it yourself bakery. Of course there's stuff in the warm display as well as cakes, but the majority of their items are all in the pick bins.My absolute favorite thing from them would be the hot dog bao and the cocktail bun. My mom is a fan of their walnut cookies, and my dad is a fan of the cream bao. They have a pretty good variety of items.Credit card is $5, but if you grab at least 3 items you're good. Parking is insanely easy.
January 26 · Steph WongMy family loves going to Manila Oriental. Whenever I don't want to go in with them, I like going in here. The store is clean and always has freshly made pastries and goodies. It has the standard staples like bbq pork buns, egg tarts, and sesame balls, to name a few. I like that it is a no frills bakery and it is reasonably priced. People who work here are nice and tell me about any other fresh seasonal items they have. You can't really ask for more, just be warned if you come later in the afternoon, most of the items might be sold out
January 23 · Lynn EglanWe’ve been biking up King Drive for the last several years and our reward has always been to stop at this bakery. In general, it’s just ok with most of the pastries but over time, and so far, the two best items are the Don tat (egg tarts) and the Don go (sponge cake). Both of these are excellent and the egg tart is almost as good as Golden gate. It’s only $2.20 for the egg tart and $1.80 for the sponge cake. The rest is just ok but it’s worth it for those two items!!
