Olgas Cakes Introduce
For residents across Tennessee, the need for a reliable, local cake shop is often paramount when planning celebrations, special events, or simply satisfying a sweet tooth. Olgas Cakes, operating as a dedicated Cake shop in the La Vergne community, aims to serve this specific market niche by focusing on custom cake production and dessert items. Situated on Waldron Road, this establishment is part of the network of local businesses that cater to the unique needs of Middle Tennessee families and event planners. As a business specializing in custom and celebratory baked goods, the shop's core function is centered around delivering personalized, edible art to mark life's significant moments.
In the dynamic retail landscape of La Vergne, Olgas Cakes represents a small-scale, specialized vendor whose success is inherently tied to the quality of its products and the reliability of its customer service. The designation of a "Cake shop" implies a focus on complex, bespoke orders—something beyond the scope of a standard grocery store bakery. This specialization is what draws customers looking for unique designs, specific flavors, and custom sizing for events ranging from birthdays to anniversaries. For local Tennessee users seeking a vendor in this specific category, Olgas Cakes presents an option within easy driving distance.
However, as part of an objective and factual overview, it is crucial for potential Tennessee customers to be aware of the business's public service history. Transparency is key to making informed decisions, especially when significant events and large orders are concerned. The information available publicly provides a clear, though mixed, picture of the customer experience, an aspect that must be prioritized when evaluating a specialized vendor like a custom cake shop. The subsequent sections will detail the factual elements of the business, including its location, accessibility, minimal explicit services, and a professional summary of the public customer feedback. This comprehensive view allows local users to perform the necessary due diligence before placing an order.
Olgas Cakes is conveniently located at 594 Waldron Rd, La Vergne, TN 37086, USA. This placement situates the cake shop within a community-centric area of La Vergne, making it readily accessible for residents in the immediate vicinity and the surrounding neighborhoods of Middle Tennessee. Waldron Road is a local thoroughfare, and the location provides a fixed, easily identifiable spot for customers needing to visit for consultations, order placements, or pickups.
Regarding physical accessibility, the location provides one specific, essential feature to accommodate all members of the Tennessee community: a Wheelchair accessible parking lot. This foundational amenity is important as it ensures that customers with mobility challenges can safely and conveniently park near the shop entrance, facilitating an easier visit for order collection or consultation. While other accessibility features are not explicitly listed in public data, the presence of dedicated accessible parking demonstrates a fundamental commitment to basic public access. For local customers who prioritize ease of access, this feature is a necessary component of the overall business infrastructure. The proximity to residential areas and the straightforward nature of the Waldron Road location also contribute to its accessibility for those preferring to support local, community-based businesses in Tennessee.
As a highly specialized vendor focused on custom cake production, the service options explicitly listed for Olgas Cakes are minimal, emphasizing the customer’s final step in the transaction process. The primary documented service is:
- Takeout: This service is fundamental to the operation of a cake shop, designating that customers must collect their prepared, finished items directly from the business premises. For a cake shop, "Takeout" typically involves the scheduled pickup of large, custom, or pre-ordered cakes. This means customers are responsible for the transport of the delicate goods from the shop to their destination.
Additionally, given the business type ("Cake shop") and customer reviews referencing "ordered cake" and "delivery," the *implied core service* is the creation and production of custom-designed cakes, often for large events. While delivery is mentioned in reviews, the only verified service option is Takeout, meaning customers should expect to pick up their orders directly at the 594 Waldron Road address unless other arrangements are confirmed directly with the shop. The focus on Takeout streamlines the final transaction phase for the business.
The features of Olgas Cakes are centered on transaction convenience and, notably, its publicly available service record. The core factual features are:
- Modern Payment Convenience: The shop offers two efficient payment methods. It accepts Debit cards and utilizes NFC mobile payments, such as tap-to-pay options. This focus on modern, cashless transactions is a convenience for local customers who prefer quick, digital payment methods.
- Publicly Reported Punctuality and Quality Issues: Based on public customer reviews, prospective Tennessee customers should be aware of documented concerns. Customers have reported significant issues with punctuality, with one review noting cakes arrived "3 hours late" and another stating "Punctuality seems to be an issue."
- Reported Product Discrepancies: Customer feedback also highlights critical issues with the product itself, including receiving the "wrong flavors," cakes described as "poorly made and dry," and a general "deteriorated" quality compared to previous orders.
- Reported Accountability Concerns: A consistent theme in the negative feedback is a reported "refuse to take accountability for any mistakes" and a reluctance "to offer an acceptable solution," suggesting potential difficulties in dispute resolution following service failure.
These factors—both the modern payment convenience and the critical customer insights—are essential for a Tennessee resident conducting thorough research on a custom cake vendor before investing a significant amount of money in an order.
For direct inquiries regarding availability, pricing, or custom order requests, potential Tennessee customers may utilize the following contact details:

When considering Olgas Cakes on Waldron Road, the choice for a local Tennessee customer is primarily centered on a few logistical conveniences and a necessary consideration of the public service record. What is factually available to the consumer is the business’s distinct local presence on Waldron Road in La Vergne, offering a geographically convenient option for those living in the immediate vicinity. Furthermore, the commitment to modern payment methods, including the use of Debit cards and NFC mobile payments, makes the final transaction process efficient and cashless, a distinct modern convenience. The availability of a Wheelchair accessible parking lot also ensures basic, essential access for customers with mobility requirements.
However, it is crucial for local users to balance these logistical factors against the consistent and severe negative feedback documented in the public domain. When choosing a specialized vendor like a custom cake shop—where punctuality and product quality are non-negotiable for events—the extensive reports of lateness, wrong orders, poor quality, and a reported lack of accountability become the most significant factor in the decision-making process. The value proposition of Olgas Cakes, therefore, is its local specialization and payment convenience, but this must be weighed against the transparently reported history of operational and product issues. For any Tennessee customer, the choice requires significant caution and thorough verification before committing to an order, especially one with a high financial commitment, as noted in customer feedback. The ultimate value of choosing Olgas Cakes depends entirely on the prospective customer's tolerance for risk concerning the publicly reported service issues.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am very disappointed with the quality of service. We have ordered cake from them once before however recently the quality has deteriorated. Punctuality seems to be an issue with this vendor. They seem to think that anytime except the scheduled time is an acceptable delivery time. They refuse to take accountability for any mistakes made on their part and refuse to offer an acceptable solution. I’m very disappointed to see the lack of care for customers considering the amount they bill per order. DO NOT RECOMMEND
August 25 · vicky vitervoThe cakes that were delivered were the wrong flavors. They arrived 3 hours late and the lady didn't even show up to hand them to us. She had her employee call her because he didn't know either. The cakes were poorly made and dry. The price we paid was NOT worth it. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
August 30 · Evelyn VillanuevaWe were really disappointed with our experience at this bakery. The cake we ordered was dry and tasteless, which was not what we expected. On top of that, the customer service was poor, and our concerns went ignored. We won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place to others.
August 30 · Bear LunaI am very disappointed. They ordered the cake at a certain time, and they sent it at whatever time Olgas Cakes felt like. Be careful with the flavors of the whole walnut cakes. I will never take them into account again.
August 25 · Fernando VitervoThis bakery is truly awful. I read the reviews before booking, but I decided to give it a try. Their cakes taste so bad and their decor is so disappointing. It doesn't matter if you show them something similar to what you want. They'll make it so simple, without decorations or anything, even if you pay for it. The cake tastes so dry and awful, and the price is extremely high. Don't waste your time here. It's the worst cake shop I've ever seen or used.
