Pretty solid new patisserie in Frisco. They do have other locations but happy they have a standalone store in Frisco now. We got the pistachio, almond, and mixed berry Danish.Overall flavors were pretty good and tasted fresh. I do appreciate that they have a wide variety of sweet and savory pastries. The croissants were more on the bready end and not as flaky, buttery, and layered as I like. But still pretty solid with the flavors. Great option in an area that doesn't have a lot of patisseries.

Popped in on a Sunday mid-morning, enjoying a cute, quiet atmosphere. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We were recommended the mixed berry danish and pull-apart cinnamon roll muffin. We instantly fell in love with the mixed berry danish! 10/10 flavor, baked with expertise, especially given how airy it was and its croissant-like texture. The pull-apart cinnamon muffin was also very loved! Imagine a muffin made with cinnamon roll flavors but chopped into airy, bite-sized, croissant-sized nuggets baked into a flavor profile that’s not too sweet or dull. When pulling apart the muffin, we were pleasantly surprised that each little nugget was almost like a crouton, but not quite—if that makes sense. For a pastry shop/café, we also loved the smoothness and quality of their coffee! We’ll definitely be coming back for Sunday treats to spoil ourselves!

I got a blueberry matcha. It was kinda hard to stir because their straws are really flimsy, but I like the pink vibes of the store and their female barista is very polite. The matcha itself kinda just tasted like a sugar bomb, but it was still tasty. Would visit again.

It’s the croissants for me! Very happy they have a store front off Preston now. There’s not many options for a fresh baked croissant in Frisco and I would previously wait until the weekend to get Ollio croissants at the Frisco Farmers Market. It’s great to have this option now and it’s open until 4pm each day. I’ve tried the butter, chocolate, almond, berry almond, and pistachio croissants. They have a flakey crispy outside and soft, layered, chewy inside. Berry almond is my favorite but all are delicious. They have a variety of other pastries, but I have not tried them because I’m just obsessed with the croissants. In fact, I’m eating a berry croissant as I’m typing this. Ollio is definitely a spot to check out in Frisco.
