★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I guess you could call this place a solid for some Portuguese bread and cheese but everything else was borderline ok/ nothing great, remarkable, craveable, or mentionable. Bread is soft and cheese is good. If I lived in the area or was in the area I'd stop by for some bread and cheese once in awhile. Otherwise it's not something I'd go out of my way for. Staff is friendly and it's very clean.
January 11 · Katherine VuWell on Saturday I went and bought a sweet bread to me it just didn't look right like it had not rose enough.. When I got home opened the bag and the sweet bread was so so yellow like neon in color will not be going back again!!!! Bought one last month that went out in the trash also for it was stale.. They are not going to make it if they keep it up..A shame for the other owners were spot on..
February 02 · Barbara FriesFrom the moment I walk in, the smell of freshly baked goods and rich coffee fills the air, promising a truly authentic experience.Sunrise bakery is more than just a bakery; it’s a slice of Portugal right in your neighborhood. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of Portuguese cuisine or a curious foodie looking to explore, this bakery is a must-visit. It’s a place where every bite tells a story, and you’re guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face and a longing to return.
March 27 · Nancy HsuBeen going here since I was a kid and vouched for this place forever because they always had the best / freshest bakery items around, not nowadays.Got a few things this morning and didn’t give me my other linguica and cheese roll yet still charged me for it. Got 6 pops and they came like this, figured they were fresh and they are packaging them up like this for quick sell. WRONG, these were old pops from who knows how long ago. The staff is rude and the place is a mess. Sad to say I won’t be going back here and they are now deemed 1 of the worst bakery’s in the area, for me at least. Honestly hope they run themselves into the ground because they are ruining a great name to a bakery that was the best around 🤷🏽♂️
March 17 · Philip FerranMy bf was in New Bedford for an appointment. I Googled bakeries near him and asked him to get me a Caçoila Sandwich from Sunrise. The pop was perfectly toasted and the Caçoila was amazing. I only wish they put a little more in the pop. I could have easily eaten 2 of them. I shouldn't eat 2 of them I'm just saying it was THAT delicious. 🤗
