Absolutely disappointing. I walked to Sweet Lady Jane excited to try their cake, but it was a complete letdown. I ordered the vanilla creme cake, expecting something simple and classic—but instead, I got a confusing mess of pink and yellow cake with confetti sprinkles. Red velvet was no better. Chocolate cake was dry and crumbly. Nothing about it looked or tasted like what was described.The flavor? Barely there. The cake had a watery texture and zero richness. The so-called “buttercream” didn’t even taste like real buttercream—it was bland and artificial. Overall, the cake was dry, flavorless, and oddly spongy in the worst way.On top of that, the customer service was just as bad—cold and unhelpful, like he couldn’t care less whether you were satisfied or not.I’m including pictures so people know what to expect. Don’t waste your time or money here. There are way better bakeries in L.A.

What upsets me is that I ordered this cake for today, I ordered it a week ago, today is an important day, at 9am the cake should of been ready for pick up just to me told sorry with a little laugh and there are other cakes. Um why didnt u call me before making me show up there ? Says itll be ready at 11 but in reality itll be ready at 12. ?? No discount or anything just a laugh and a sorry today. Sir the cake is late. I dont need it any more. 85 dollars just to be laugh that is the main joke of today,

Sweet Lady Jane SAVED THE DAY today for us. We had an event at 1:30pm and the cake we had ordered from another bakery arrived in an unusable condition. Frantic, I called Sweet Lady Jane and they quickly put together 3 x 9" cakes with personalized writing on each and organized a delivery for us. All within 90mins. They literally saved our day today and I am so grateful. The cakes were also beautiful and tasted delicious!! Thank you!!!!
