This cake was soo delicious! I had the vanilla creme cake, moist and soft. The frosting was perfect balance of sweetness, just enough. (*I’m a frosting lover🤍) The shop is cute and service was great!! This was my first time trying, def coming back!!

SLJ has unique and delicious flavors, and all beautifully decorated. We were interested in doing a wedding cake tasting and while their email representative didn’t seem to know much about the process, when we stopped by this location to try some slices Matthew took great care of us. He was so wonderful and set up an on the spot tasting and walked us through the process and answered all questions we had. Really a great experience and we will be purchasing our wedding cake from SLJ!

On July 19, 2025, I had a friend stop by and pick up desserts for a dinner party (chocolate chip cookies, brownies, lemon bars, and a coconut item). With the exception of the coconut item, everything was overbaked--with the chocolate chip cookies being almost inedible.When you go to these shops hoping to support local businesses, it's disappointing to have such a bad experience. Never again--I'll go to Pavilions or Vons instead. My guests were not pleased, and I ended up throwing the majority away. A complete waste of money.You would think the bakery staff would have noticed the items were overbaked. Maybe quality control just wasn't there that day...
