I reached out when I needed a birthday cake for my college kid, all the way across the country. I had some thoughts, but no real vision of what I wanted. Christine immediately reached back out with some inspiration photos and suggestions and WOW was the end result amazing!!A 2-tier spooky theme birthday cake with molded chocolate skulls and pumpkins, a custom sugar cookie moon with bats…all for an incredibly affordable price and DELIVERED to the college.I can’t say enough wonderful things about this experience and absolutely recommend The Cupcakery for any baked goods needs.

cupcake frosting is too sweet. @staff please reset your tastebuds. it tastes like fondant. i came here twice and ordered a variety and they were all too sweet to the point of inedible except for the coffee one, because coffee is bitter already. i wanted to support because you are lgbtq friendly but i can’t stomach the sweetness.

My sister chose to order birthday cake from this place for a special 3 way birthday for 3 sisters. By sister lives in South Carolina so the communication was all done through email. I’m also one of the sisters and This was my 40th birthday party. She wanted to have a special cake made that incorporated all 3 of the sister’s personalities. She specifically sent her pictures and ideas that she wanted. When my sister went to pick the cake up it ended up being three separate cakes. The cake decoration was not great. It looked very mediocre and they were not anything close to what my sister had sent her in the emails. My sister called the bakery today to ask to not have a full refund but to at least have someMoney back for not getting the cake she ordered originally. A worker spoke with her (not the owner) the worker was basically being the middle man between my sister on the phone and the owner of the bakery on the phone. The worker told my sister that the owner said she can’t do cash back but do a gift card instead. My sister doesn’t even live in this state so that’s useless. My sister then asked to just speak with the owner instead to make it easier and the worker said she couldn’t because she was busy. This is very unprofessional. When you have a business your main priority should be pleasing customers. My sister should have got a full refund in my opinion as she didNot get what she ordered at all! This is a huge disappointment and now a very big blemish on this business. I willNot be using this bakery as they doNot seem to have any care in making mistakes right and treating customers with at least the dignity to speak with them on the phone about any issues.

We ordered two dozen cookies for close to $100 for a baby shower. The presentation and service given was amazing, but the cookies themselves were disgusting. While they looked pretty, they were extremely dry and bland. I would not pay $1 for these cookies, would not recommend.

Love cupcakes, try this place out!!! They have so many choices and I haven't had a bad one yet! They also made my granddaugthers birthday cakes for the last couple year, and they were delicious. Moist with the most awesome, made from scratch buttercream!! Try it out and I don't think you will be disappointed. They also have awesome breakfast sandwiches...
