★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This bakery has been in town for just over two years but we visited for the first time today- a Sunday. Very modern and hip shop, the staff was helpful and friendly! We had delicious breakfast biscuits. The Kolaches are so good!! We can’t wait to go back and try something else! Prices were comparable to other shops in the Iowa City area. This is a must!
October 29 · Kelly ButcherThis is the cutest bakery ever. I’m obsessed with their cinnamon rolls. I have also tried a couple different pies and loved them all. This is my go-to place to grab a quick coffee and pastry before work. The staff is also very friendly and professional. I highly recommend!
June 04 · Sonal JeswaniAmazing fresh baked goods! Very cute inside, only wish there was room for dine-in. Picture is of their delicious cinnamon rolls. We also had the cherry bars which were the best we’ve ever had!
January 16 · Shirley AmthauerI’ve had the opportunity to both dine in and carry out many times since they opened in Marion. I’ve also introduced many friends to this place. Everything is great, and I’ve tried many things on the menu. Food is excellent, reasonably priced and staff is cheerful and helpful. Atmosphere is clean, beautiful and relaxing.
June 09 · Lorry EvansYou must eat at The Eat Shop! We came from out of town to the Solon Beef Days 5K and after the race asked a stranger near the finish for a breakfast recommendation. She suggested The Eat Shop so we headed straight to Main Street. The cinnamon roll was amazing - delicious and soft dough with a lot of rich frosting. The sugar cookie was terrific - super soft, yummy frosting, and adorably decorated as a cows to match the weekend theme. They even had an adorable cow cake inside and other treats that we’ll have to try next time! Building exterior looked new and the shop was modern, clean, and bright inside.3-4 women in the shop were all very friendly and we even saw them riding in the parade after where they were smiling and happy again. Overall just seems like a very nice place. I don’t live in this town but will definitely salivate to come back if I ever visit again, so in the meantime I recommend everyone else check it out!! 👍👍
