Vermont Cookie Love Introduce
Hello, fellow Vermonters! When the sun is shining and you're craving a quintessential Vermont treat, there’s one name that often comes to mind: Vermont Cookie Love. Nestled in the picturesque town of Ferrisburgh, this beloved ice cream shop and bakery has become a staple for locals and a delightful discovery for visitors exploring our beautiful state. More than just a place to grab a cold treat or a warm cookie, Vermont Cookie Love embodies the spirit of local craftsmanship and community charm that we cherish here in the Green Mountain State. This article aims to provide a comprehensive look at what makes Vermont Cookie Love a must-visit destination, from its delectable offerings to its welcoming atmosphere, all from a local's perspective.
Vermont Cookie Love isn't just about satisfying a sweet tooth; it's about experiencing a piece of Vermont. Known for their "creemees" (our local term for soft-serve ice cream) and their namesake cookies, they've perfected the art of creating crave-worthy desserts. Their commitment to quality ingredients, often sourced locally, shines through in every bite. It's the kind of place where a simple treat becomes a memorable experience, whether you're enjoying it on a warm summer evening or grabbing some frozen cookie dough to bake at home during a chilly Vermont winter. They have successfully built a reputation as a friendly, family-oriented establishment that consistently delivers on taste and a welcoming vibe, making it a regular stop for many families and individuals across the region.
Vermont Cookie Love is conveniently located at 6915 US-7 North, Ferrisburgh, VT 05473, USA. This address places it directly on a primary route, making it highly accessible for residents of Ferrisburgh and neighboring towns such as Vergennes, Charlotte, and even Burlington, which is just a short drive north. Route 7 is a well-traveled highway that connects many of Vermont's communities, ensuring that the ice cream shop is easy to find whether you're heading north or south.
While the location itself is excellent, some customer reviews indicate that parking can be a bit challenging, especially during peak hours when the shop gets "BUSY" due to its popularity. However, the establishment has attempted to manage this with "plastic barrier posts" to guide the line and parking flow, suggesting an awareness of this popular demand. Despite potential parking quirks, the overall accessibility remains strong, and patrons often find that the delicious treats are well worth any minor inconvenience. There's also mention of a "nice place to sit out back," suggesting outdoor seating options where you can enjoy your order, adding to the relaxed, country-side appeal often associated with Vermont. Its proximity to natural attractions like Mt. Philo further enhances its appeal as a post-hike reward or a scenic stop during a leisurely drive. The shop’s direct placement on a major artery ensures that it serves as a convenient and appealing stop for both daily patrons and those exploring the scenic routes of Vermont.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Creemees are delicious! Parking is not great and there were no spots. Nice place to sit out back. Coffee maple creamy was so good.
July 05 · Maggie HLittle tip: This place gets BUSY. Because it’s really good. The line is supposed to run parallel to the building, not spill out into the parking lot, blocking the only available parking space. They even have plastic barrier posts up to indicate where the line goes. So, if you’re blocking a parking space on a busy night like tonight, and someone asks you nicely to move the line over so they can park, maybe just move over instead of instructing them to park in a prohibited spot across the lot.Annoying, entitled middle aged dude aside, it’s a great spot and they move the line along quick.
July 12 · Super NaturalAlways delicious at any time of the year with a great variety of yummy treats from creamies (Vermonter's name for soft serve), cookies with all flavors of love (go see for yourself what I am referring to), ice cream Sundays, Java, and even treats for your pup.
February 21 · Sandra SonnCookie Love serves absolutely delicious creemies ice cream and more. totally recommend, its a nice spot to sit and eat. the service is always so quick and I once saw a little girl drop there ice cream and they gave her a new one, free of charge.
June 10 · Lucy CavanaghFrom my child: Their ice cream and cookies are so good! I want to go back the second I leave. My favorite part is that they have so many cookies and ice cream flavors. I love to get a mint chocolate chip "lovewich"!
