Yeast Coast Bakehouse Introduce
For Central Florida residents who appreciate the true artistry of baking, Yeast Coast Bakehouse in Orlando's charming College Park neighborhood is the essential destination. This isn't your average chain coffee stop; it's a dedicated, small-batch bakery that has rapidly built a reputation for crafting what many are calling the best baked goods in the region. Operating with a clear focus on quality over quantity, Yeast Coast Bakehouse has become a vibrant part of the local culinary landscape, marrying a deep passion for handmade pastries with a perfectly brewed cup of coffee.
The name itself hints at their specialty: products where yeast plays the starring role. The undisputed crown jewel of their limited but ever-changing menu is the cinnamon roll. Customer reviews are not just positive; they are evangelical, featuring declarations like, "we all agreed they were the best cinnamon rolls we’ve ever had!" and "They definitely can make a tasty cinnamon roll!" The quality is a result of meticulous effort; the very small team starts their day at 3 or 4 am, dedicating hours to the scratch-made process that sets their pastries apart. This commitment ensures every bite, from the flaky custard croissant buns to the inventive "milk & cookies" roll, delivers an unparalleled level of freshness and flavor.
Yeast Coast Bakehouse proudly embraces a simple, efficient model. They are a true 'Grab + Go only' operation, focusing all their energy on what they do best: baking. This approach generates a buzz and a loyal following, necessitating an early start for customers who want to secure their weekend treats. While they serve coffee, like the fan-favorite Honey Nut Cheerio latte, until 2 pm, the highly-sought-after pastries are often "sold out by 11 am." This scarcity is a testament to their overwhelming popularity and the small-batch integrity they refuse to compromise. Locals understand this is the trade-off for consuming baked goods made completely from scratch—a process that often "takes multiple days to make."
The combination of high-quality baking, unique specialty coffee options, and a friendly, dedicated team has cemented Yeast Coast Bakehouse as a "hot new spot." They successfully blend the nostalgic, almost '90s-themed vibe with a modern commitment to superior artisan baking. For those in the Florida region, a morning visit here isn’t just about buying breakfast; it’s a highly anticipated morning ritual. It is a rewarding experience that confirms the simple truth: great things truly do come in small packages.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Grab + Go only! I’ve been coming to Yeast Coast Bakehouse since their soft opening, I’m here every Saturday & Sunday for my morning routine of a Honey Nut Cheerio latte + a pastry. I’ve tried EVERY baked item they’ve made so far, menu can vary on a week/day basis. They are a SUPER small team that goes to work at like 3 or 4am to begin baking. Most items available at 9am until they are sold out and most times sold out by 11am but serving coffee until 2pm.Again, VERY small team and baking as much as they can - Get there early and please be kind of they’re sold out. They’re just THAT popular!!!
December 01 · Katelyn ConstantinoThis is the hot new spot for cinnamon rolls/baked goods, and I now understand why! They definitely can make a tasty cinnamon roll! I tried the “milk & cookies” roll and I thought it was absolutely delicious! I do wish they had some seating (it’s very very small inside) so I wouldn’t have to go eat my food while standing by the trunk of my car, but I suppose it’s still worth it!Edit: went back to grab cinnamon rolls for myself and a couple buddies, and we all agreed they were the best cinnamon rolls we’ve ever had!
March 03 · Nick CangemiWe just happened to be walking by on the soft opening weekend. I had to stop in and try the cold brew (Lineage coffee) and a few baked goods. The cinnamon roll is very light and airy without the doughy middle, with a cream cheese frosting that wasn’t too sweet. Perfect amount of cinnamon and just enough sugar to make it pleasantly sweet without overpowering the pastry. The monkey bread is decadent with a crunchy buttery caramel toffee like topping over soft pastry pillows to pull apart. I devoured it!Cold brew coffee was delicious. They use Lineage coffee so it’s gonna be good. It’s a very small shop, no seating inside, basically a grab and go. Several people were gathered out front with kids and dogs. Very family friendly. Soon to be a neighborhood favorite for sure! With that being said, I never had the opportunity to visit the previous Cups and Pups.
January 27 · Jody StoopsAfter seeing a patrons video of Yeast Coast Bakehouse on Instagram this morning we decided to set off on our long journey from Polk County to College Park to experience this place. We visited around 11:30am and they only had two baked items to order so we ordered one of each. We ordered the Cinnamon Roll ($6) and the Bread Pudding ($5) and we shared a Brown Sugar Pop Tart Latte ($6).I have to say, the video made this look amazing, and the reality didn’t match our excitement level. We knew this was likely a small bakehouse, but we expected them to have more baked items to choose from since we thought that baked items were their specialty. They do not have any seating so you have to take items to go which is fine. We started with the cinnamon roll and the best part of it was the icing. It was really tasty and not overly sweet. The cinnamon roll itself was moist but didn’t have much flavor without the icing. The bread pudding is also moist and lacking a rich flavor. The Iced Brown Sugar Pop Tart Latte had a tasty topping but the latte itself was flavored with a kind of fake tasting syrup. All in all, it’s an ok place to visit, but maybe more worth a visit if you arrive much much closer to opening. The whole place is very small so it doesn’t look like their kitchen is large enough to keep it stocked before noon. There were just two employees present. I don’t feel a great need to return as there are other bakeries in the neighborhood to visit.
October 27 · M BThis was my second time visiting this store. I had been a customer of Cups and Pups since they were in a dirt lot. I walked up on a Thursday morning with my dog. There was only one man ordering at the counter with the two women talking to him. I stood there with my dog for a solid 2 minutes with no contact from either women. I made eye contact with one and she continued to ignore me and my dog. Another couple came in and looked at the offerings and left. I followed them out. I even tried to look around the guy to see the offerings and still the women ignored me. There were plenty of pastries available but I guess they were only available to people they deemed appropriate, and that wasn't me or my dog. No problem, I walked across the street and got a grilled muffin, delicious! There are WAY too many small businesses for a pastry in College Park with actual good service!! Work on your service! You do not get my money just because your a small business.
