★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Driving into town, we came across a non-chain, fresh bakery. We stopped to get the official drink of Rhode Island, coffee milk. My hubby went in to order. Our drinks were made fresh and hot! Well, we couldn't have the coffee milk without a treat. He bought éclairs as well. The éclairs were delicious with the rich and creamy coffee concoction! Honestly, i had never heard of coffee milk before this trip. It is hot milk made with coffee syrup. It almost tastes like the milk part of a malted milk ball. This little bakery also has savory goodies as well.
May 22 · Debbie McDanielWhile walking the West Warwick secondary trail with a friend, we happened upon this gorgeous little bakery. The owner was in a side area creating more of the lovely decorations that are in the photos below. She was very pleasant, served us promptly and was extremely accommodating! We enjoyed our desserts and coffee sitting in a secluded area and I enjoyed the atmosphere so much that I couldn’t stop taking pictures!!We make it a point to visit as often as possible and I recommend that anyone who wants to relax in a pleasant, welcoming environment to do the same.
June 24 · Ann Marie MaccaroneThis used to be mateo bakery. The used to sell the best cakes and pastries . Sadly they have new owners. I have been there two times. Supposedly their bakeries are made with natural ingredients but they are made with artificial strawberries raspberries or blueberries. They are not natural ingredients. And the prices from the cakes went from 3 to $5 when I used to purchase from the previous owners everything was made with natural ingredients I used to go there every single day to get them for breakfast you used to see the store for every morning with so many people. Now you're going there you hardly see any people because the prices are so high. The place is nice and clean yeah but I don't like the service and I don't like the prices. And for that reason I stopped going there it's not worth paying $5 for a little cupcake. When I ate the cupcake the batter wasn't even done right it has clumps and lumps inside and it tastes like freezer burn.
June 14 · S LCute spot visually, but lacking where it counts. The desserts were pretty mediocre. They aren't super pricey, but they just didn’t deliver on flavor. I tried an eclair—the cream had no taste, and the "chocolate" on top had the same flavor and consistency as Hershey’s syrup. I also had the apple turnover, which barely had any apple filling at all. Really disappointing overall.
April 15 · James ArcuriThe baked goods looked great, but I wasn't ready to order immediately and the person working there disappeared behind the counter never to return. I called out that I was ready, waited another minute, then left. Horrible customer service. I have a Tiktok with 11k followers, and I won't be able to recommend this local spot on my page unfortunately. Thumbs down
