Auntie Anne's Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For Illinois residents and visitors navigating the vastness of Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD), a sight for sore eyes—and a treat for hungry stomachs—is the welcoming presence of Auntie Anne's. This specific location, nestled within Terminal 2's Ef Concourse, provides a focused 'Bakery' experience centered on its renowned soft pretzels. Auntie Anne's is a celebrated name, synonymous with the simple, immediate satisfaction of a warm, hand-rolled, and freshly baked pretzel, served golden-brown and often butter-brushed. It functions as a critical refueling stop for passengers needing a quick, savory, or sweet snack before a flight.
The core of Auntie Anne's appeal is the product quality itself: every pretzel is baked to perfection and can be enjoyed in various forms, from the classic Original twist to convenient Pretzel Nuggets and the filling Pretzel Dogs. The menu, designed for the high-traffic, quick-turnaround environment of an airport, is streamlined to offer maximum flavor with minimal wait time. This makes it an ideal option for travelers planning a 'Quick visit' during a tight connection or pre-flight boarding.
However, the environment of a major airport concession sometimes introduces challenges. Customer feedback for this specific Terminal 2 location suggests significant inconsistency in both product quality and service. Reports of pretzels being "two days old" and "hard to chew" stand in stark contrast to the brand's promise of a freshly baked product. Furthermore, the descriptions of staff being "very rude," "unwelcoming," and allegedly forcing customers into "up charge" by claiming a lack of smaller sizes highlight potential issues with customer service that travelers should be aware of. While the brand itself is a beloved favorite, the execution at this particular Chicago location appears to be highly variable, leading some frequent travelers to conclude that it is "what to avoid here."

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1These things are like two days old, so hard to chew, I tried 4 and had to throw the rest away. The server Eliona was very very rude, did give me the sauce too. In her unwelcoming tone listening-to music with a pretentious “hate my job” look , she said “this is what we got, we don’t carry small”As a frequent traveler now i know what to avoid here.Go somewhere else guys. Ruined Auntie Anne’a for me! I had such good experience in SF .
June 10 · Pranay VermaLady running the cash register with the mole on her face. Forced up charge on cup of pretzels. Claims no small cup so forced to buy large. small cups are right next to her and she didn’t want to pour the large cup into smaller cup.
June 01 · A MarridiThe pretzel is the normal Auntie Anne’s pretzel, delicious. They had several people working, and they were great. They give a Veterans discount, thank you. I didn’t have any issues.
December 03 · Richard KThe younger lady at the register was just nasty and she had a horrible smell to her, we ordered the pepperoni bites and when we bit into one it was nasty hard and just tasted old. When asked how long they have been on the warmer she stated they were fresh so I asked for fresh ones due to the price I just paid and she had the worse attitude possible.
May 04 · Kayla KingThere were two gentlemen at terminal 2 gate F6 I believe I was in line waiting for a few minutes, nobody came to assist me. Then two customers walked up and the tall guy assisted them. I said am I in wrong line, I was here first. Tall guy said inna rude tone that he asked if he could assist me but I probably couldn’t hear because I had headphones on. You see me standing by the checkout, clearly I’m here to be served so if I didn’t hear why didn’t you approach to say “how can I help?” And why respond in a rude way? Also, why would you help others behind me in middle of the line? I walked to register like I always do to order at this Annie’s, where the check out is. One day these employees are going to be rude to the wrong customer and it won’t be a good look
