For decades, Auntie Anne's has been a fixture in malls and high-traffic areas across Southern California because of its singular focus on a premium product. The dough, freshly made and hand-rolled, is what sets their pretzels apart from competitors. The classic Original Pretzel with a side of savory Cheese Dip remains an irresistible pairing, while the Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel coupled with the creamy Sweet Glaze Dip is a beloved dessert standard.
Furthermore, choosing Auntie Anne's means supporting a brand with a profound history of giving back. The company's founder, Anne Beiler, started the business with a purpose beyond profit—specifically, to fund a community counseling center. This legacy of generosity continues today, with the brand actively engaging in charitable partnerships, such as raising millions of dollars for pediatric cancer research through the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. When you buy a pretzel, you're not just getting a great snack; you're supporting a business that values its community.
It's important to note that, as with any high-volume location, the customer experience can sometimes vary. A few recent patrons have mentioned issues with pretzels not tasting as fresh as expected, or with difficulties navigating the rewards program and receiving receipts. While the brand is built on delivering a "Pretzel Perfect" experience, these instances highlight the value of clear communication with staff and perhaps requesting a pretzel baked as a fresh order, especially during slower periods, to ensure you receive the soft, hot pretzel the brand is famous for. Focusing on the Sweet Almond Pretzel or the convenient Pretzel Nuggets—which are often highlighted by fans as some of the best menu items—can guarantee a fantastic treat that lives up to the hype.
In conclusion, the Auntie Anne's at Lakewood Center Mall offers a delicious, convenient, and nostalgic snack option with a vast menu of flavors and dips. Its commitment to accessibility and modern service options like curbside pickup makes it a reliable choice for any California local looking for a sweet or savory break.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went for free Pretzel day. I ordered the Cinnamon Sugar the guy told me to wait and gave me a receipt. A Latina girl comes behind me orders the same thing and he makes her one fresh and hands it to her. I mentioned I ordered the same thing before her and he goes "We are backed up at the moment" this location will never get my business again
April 27 · RSo I have the Auntie Anne’s app and I told the cashier I had the QR Code to scan for rewards. He says “you scan that after you pay” which I was skeptical of because paying always ends the transaction, and you always scan the QR code before the transaction is over obviously. But that’s what he said so that’s what I did and of course, after I had paid, there was no way to scan the QR code. So I thought I would just scan the receipt except he did not give me a receipt or put a receipt in the bag as I assumed he would, so I was able to get the reward points. That wouldn’t bother me so much just annoying. But the bigger issue is that the pretzel sucked. It tasted like it was probably made 4 to 5 hours earlier and it just been sitting around getting stale all day. I generally prefer Wetzel pretzels, but my spouse wanted Auntie Anne’s today so I decided to go for him. However, the whole experience reminded me exactly why I prefer Wetzel pretzels. How do you mess up a pretzel when all you make is pretzels? The store definitely takes the do one thing and do it well and reverses it since it does one thing and does it horribly. So yeah, bad food bad service, bad accommodation of the rewards program I would not recommend going to this Auntie Anne’s store ever!
January 14 · Eric WryeCashier told me to download the Annie’s app for a free pretzel. So I went and downloaded it and then showed the cashier, he said it works for some people but he didn’t see the coupon on my app so no free pretzel but I could buy something else and get a pretzel free. What kind of scam is that? I’m like oh well that was a waste of time but whatever lmk just buy a pretzel and be done. I wasn’t expecting a free pretzel in the first place until he mentioned the app. So I ordered my pretzel and asked them to brush some extra butter on my pretzel. It’s not like I asked for a whole dipping sauce of butter, the manager just said no. I could respect if she at least offered at an extra charge but just to say no all together and not even say ok but it’ll be an extra fee was so ridiculous. I get that done all the time with no problem. So I was done and I asked for a refund. Terrible management as someone has stated before. And encouraging workers to trick customers into downloading an app for a free pretzel just to make more money is sad.
April 27 · Kiara Says SoSecond time ordering from this location. Had the same girl wearing a "KIMBERLY" necklace both times. Both times she was extremely unfriendly. No greeting, no personality, very rude. She didn't ask if I wanted my pretzels salted. Just gave them to me, turned around and walked away. I didn't want them after that. I just threw them away. I'll stick with Wetzel pretzel.
February 16 · Rachel Gameros-PerezJust ordered and observed this person who was working by herself. She was wearing her white gloves and served 3 customers WITHOUT modifying it after touching other people’s money. While observing her, it kinda disgust me. This is an unsanitary place to serve with other people that are going to buy in this place!.. Watch out guys, and observed this person differently. I’m not buying this food from this kind of place anymore….
