★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was so excited when I found out they finally opened a new location at Union Square! This spot used to sell croissant ice cream, which was also really good — but now that they’ve taken over, I’ll definitely be visiting more often!I’ve always liked their original location, and this visit to the new shop was great too, though it felt like they had fewer items 🤔 Maybe it’s because they don’t have a full kitchen in the back 🥲That said, the food is still delicious! It was quite busy when I went, so I think business is going really well. The taste was just as good as the original store — no difference at all.Last time I visited the main location, I noticed their desserts were mostly pre-made and frozen, so if that’s something you care about, just keep it in mind. Personally, I still thought everything tasted really fresh! I also picked up a couple of their baked goods, and they were quite tasty too!Prices average around $8–$10 per item, which feels very reasonable for small treats — nothing too heavy or expensive. If you haven’t been yet, go check it out! Just make sure to double-check their hours — I think they’re closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and they close a bit earlier than usual.
June 30 · Hilda LiuCute pastry place they have nice options but their products don’t feel fresh, and way too sweet. We took a Lemon tart and it didn’t have much of a lemon flavor, the raspberry cake was a bit mushy and with a lot of sugar. And the coffee it’s just ok. If you love desserts full of sugar this is the place.
August 16 · Nadav GalExciting that they've opened up a new location closer to FiDi so that I don't have toake the trek to Pacific Heights. That said, I got the raspberry almond croissant and it was incredibly disappointing. A really sad amount of filling and flavours I could find anywhere else. Not sure if it was just not fresh or if these croissants are overhyped. Can't recommend this location, you're better off going to Starbucks for their croissants for now.
May 25 · Nicholas PunI first learned about b patisserie while on vacation in Hawaii. They partnered with Kona Coffee Purveyors to provide their pastries. Likewise in Union Square, their pastries are top notch. The seasonal Kouign Amann, especially if it's passion fruit, is a must. That said in two different visits, their coffee had a burnt taste. I had cold brew and Mocha.Outdoor sitting at Union Square and people watching while having breakfast is a vibe.
April 27 · Jojo de GuzmanGrabbed the raspberry almond croissant. It was just all right — very sweet. The location is convenient, right near the Nintendo building. The staff and service was same old, same old. Nothing great, nothing bad.
