Fun cozy spot with some tasty bites! The sausage biscuit was amazing, the biscuit really stole the show though. The cup of grits came as a bowl of grits and were alright. The key lime pie was perfect - not too sweet, not too tart. The service was so kind and inviting. The inside seating section is decent but they also have a great big outdoor section with picnic tables and a fence to make it feel more secluded. Love this spot!

I've been coming to Bang Bang Pies for about 12 years! It's one of my favorite places to talk about and visit when I come through Chicago. It has evolved over time, but thankfully has maintained its delicious staples: homemade biscuits, butter, jam, and cheese grits.It’s a great stop, especially for bringing out-of-town visitors. The menu is simple, the prices are reasonable, and there's always friendly service. There’s seating inside and a nice courtyard with seating outside.And their pies are the best I've had in the city. Order early for those!

So happy we went out of our way to stop here! Everything we had was delicious! The pie dough was perfectly baked, flaky and flavorful. Highly recommend jam & cream on a biscuit - it was warm and light and delectable. This was our first stop in Chicago, driving from Detroit and reminded me of our own local pie shop, Sister Pie, but BangBang Pie & Biscuits had menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner - plus a pie garden. Such a cute and unique place, I hope to come visit again the next time I’m in the city.

Amazing homemade pies. Flavors change often. Key Lime was so tart and delicious. The Honey pie was sweet and fresh fruit on top while the S’Mores pie was chocolate heaven.
