- Pizza and Italian Dishes: Beyond baked goods and subs, Bella-Napoli operates as a pizzeria and offers a diverse menu of traditional Italian dishes, including Napoletana-style pizzas (e.g., Margherita, Quattro Formaggi), pastas (e.g., Penne Ala Vodka, Lasagna, Ravioli), veal and chicken entrees, and appetizers like fried calamari and mussels marinara.

Bella-Napoli Italian Bakery in Latham is a truly suitable and highly beneficial establishment for locals across New York's Capital Region. Its expansive menu, commitment to authentic Italian flavors, and convenient location make it a beloved staple for both everyday indulgences and special occasions, despite isolated issues with specific custom orders.
Firstly, its unparalleled authenticity and quality in Italian baked goods are a major draw. For New Yorkers who appreciate traditional Italian pastries like fresh cannoli, biscotti, and a variety of cakes, Bella-Napoli offers a genuine taste of Italy without having to travel far. The consistent praise for the freshness and flavor of their cookies and cannoli highlights a reliable source for these classic treats. This provides a unique culinary experience that stands apart from more generic bakeries, deeply appealing to those who seek genuine cultural flavors.
Secondly, beyond the bakery, Bella-Napoli's reputation for having "the best Italian subs I’ve had anywhere in the world" and a full menu of Italian dishes, including pizza and pasta, makes it an incredibly versatile dining option. While one review highlights a challenging experience with a custom order, particularly regarding communication and empathy, it is important to balance this with the overwhelming positive feedback on their standard baked goods and savory items. Such incidents, though disappointing for the individual, do not negate the consistent quality reported for their main offerings. Businesses, especially those handling many custom orders, can face operational issues. However, the core of Bella-Napoli's appeal—authentic flavors, high-quality ingredients, and a wide variety of Italian favorites—remains strong.
In conclusion, Bella-Napoli Italian Bakery is a fundamental part of the Capital Region's culinary identity. For New York locals seeking authentic Italian baked goods, world-class subs, and a diverse menu of delicious Italian dishes, it offers a compelling combination of tradition, quality, and convenience that makes it a must-visit and highly suitable local gem.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- ★★★★★Bella-Napoli Italian Bakery is a true gem! Their bakery goods are absolutely top-notch—everything from the cookies to the cannoli is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. But what truly blew me away were the Italian subs. Hands down, the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. The bread is perfectly baked, the ingredients are high quality, and every bite is packed with flavor. You can taste the pride and tradition in everything they make. 5 stars all the way—this place is a must-visit for anyone who loves real Italian food done right. April 07 · Christian Largaespada
- I have had their baked goods over the years and it is delicious, just stopping in with no preorder. However I unfortunately did not have a good experience as far as ordering ahead for these cupcakes. It was for a coworkers baby shower that was for her miracle baby. She wasn’t even going to host a baby shower for herself so this was it. She’s also a big dessert girl so to have this be the outcome was very disappointing. I called in advance, almost 2 weeks ago prior to the 4th of July weekend and asked for vanilla cupcakes, blueberry filling and cream cheese frosting with a lavender colored frosting. They confirmed it could be done during the holiday.I show up today as planned and they lost the order. None of the cupcakes were ready. They ask and confirm on my phone if I actually placed the order here, double checking the location of the call which I understand why they asked but at the same time made me feel a type of way as if I made the error when it was their mistake. The head person asks me what kind of cupcakes i ordered and “if I wanted sprinkles?” as if it would make the situation all better. He didn’t ask what it was for, when the cupcakes needed to be ready by, take the time to make a potential plan that would work for both of us. He just decided that he’s got some vanilla cupcakes in the back that they’ll wipe the frosting off and pipe the blueberry filling. At this point I said just add regular frosting instead of the cream cheese lavender color because I’m feeling defeated and I not a conflict type person which I guess is my fault. Then they come out with the cupcakes show me what they made which is the pictures below. Prior to seeing my cupcakes I see the other person next to me have a beautiful custom cake made. I’m feeling an embarrassed to give these cupcakes to her that clearly look like a mistake with these residual sprinkles and I’m gonna have to fix it. They charged me $1 per cupcake making it $20 ish. I get they baked those goods but given the circumstances of what I asked for and what I got, I really should have paid nothing.I get mistakes happened. But what I care more about is that it didn’t feel like they cared about what it was for or the significance. They just wanted to fulfill the order and move on. I’m very disappointed in the lack of empathy of the situation. Unfortunately I don’t know if I will order ahead here again based off that encounter. July 06 · Isadora Park
- I ordered a large Italian cookie tray for my friends' wedding & everyone loved them! So fresh & flavorful with many different varieties of baked treats! The cheesecake & cannolis are delicious! May 27 · Kelly Erikson
- I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Bella Napoli and saw the variety of baked goods and pastries they offer. There’s truly something for everyone! On my first visit, I had their coffee and a cheese danish. The danish was buttery and flaky, just how I like it. A friend had the brownie cheesecake, which I only had a bite of, but oh my—it was creamy with a rich, fudgy layer. I’ve never had a brownie cheesecake before, but it’s definitely on my list to try again next time.I also sampled some of their classic cookies. Their fudge fancies and black and white cookies were great, with the cookies being even better than I expected.Service is super quick, but I do wish they had more coffee options and that the coffee line wasn’t separate from the bakery line, so you wouldn’t have to wait twice to grab a cappuccino or other drinks. There’s usually a bit of a line, but it moves fast, and they have a few tables to sit at. The bakery also has a fun and welcoming vibe with its decor. October 03 · Shubhi Gautam
- Ordered a custom cake and the employees were super helpful in ordering it. Easy to pick up. It looked great and tasted great. I also enjoy their pastries such as cannolis, almond horns, cheesecakes, rainbow cookies, and much more. Everything that I've gotten has been amazing so far! Definitely will keep going to this bakery :-) February 07 · Meg N
