Been here several times and nothing but the best Dutch treats until my recent visit. I got several items including the strawberry and vanilla cream cake. The cake was sooo stale I could hardly eat it. I ordered earl grey tea and was given something else not sure what.I didn't complain because the place was packed and I wasn't sure how I would have been treated. From experience when you complain at a restaurant nothing usually get done about itI still love coming here on occasion for authentic Dutch pastries. Hopefully you will have a better experience.

The bakery offers a good variety of cakes and cookies, so many to choose from. Most of the bread and pastries were sold out when we got there around 2pm. We ordered an European Butter Cream, Salted Caramel Almond cake, and a Bear Claw. The staff are friendly. It didn't feel like a place to linger for a full cafe experience for me, but it's great for a quick treat or to grab some bakeries and go. Prices are very reasonable, and it’s clear they have a loyal following.

Pleasant experience. Came in on a busy Sunday and they still had desserts!! Got the key lime mousse, more tart than sweet but pretty good. Also got the coconut one and it was our favorite one!! It’s in the more dense side but it’s very creamy and rich in flavor. The strawberry torte I think it’s called was good and my favorite part was the strawberry cream. The last thing we tried was the chocolate cake that had the different layers of cream, it was alright.

Best place for custom cakes!!! I ordered a double layer cake for my friend's anniversary party and we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful it turned out (we actually screamed when it was delivered) 😍 and of course it was delicious. Boonzaaijer's was very communicative and made sure all of the decorations/food restrictions I requested were met. Thank you so much!!

I got my wedding cake made here by Vanessa and it was a wonderful experience. From the cake tasting to talking through the cake planning. The pricing was very reasonable and the cake turned out exactly how we pictured it.
