I loved the quiche and the egg baked in a pastry puff.BUT NOW…. The prices are nearly double for the pastries (I get it..) and they discontinued all of my favorite. The place is full of classic pastries that are all sweet which is a huge loss in my opinion. The coffee tasted watered down. AND the prices are not supported by the quality making the place feel under whelming.This place was great before, now that it’s mediocre, it feels like a huge loss.

Additionally, prices are quite outrageous - $6 for a simple croissant.It used to be our favorite place where we stopped by every time before taking the train. Today was the last time.
June 21 · UlrichS93I too got whacked over the head with the price increase and wasn't paying attention and only realized later, "Wait, did I just pay $14.25 for a cheese twist and a croissant??". Thought it was an error by the cashier till I checked their website menu and saw other complaints in the reviews here. To top it off, the ingredients and weight of the items is lessening. Cheese twists used to be nice and weighty and now are feather light and dry as a bone - meaning little to no cheese anymore. I used to stop by often but will not be going back as these prices are criminal. Go to Ole & Steen, very high quality at normal prices.
March 27 · RevOrdered their cacio pepe pastry which was flavorful and good. The ricotta blueberry muffin was very soft and there were a lot of blueberries. Their other pastries looked appetizing.The shakshuka pastry was flavorful and good. The couscous salad was decent too.
July 18 · EllenThis was my 2nd time visiting. First time had their great coffee and the ham & arugula baguette. The roast was top notch.So today I stopped in to try their almond croissant. It looked impressive: plump and flaky. I was optimistic and looked forward that first bite and eventually the almond paste in the center. Can I just say VERY disappointed. Although flaky, it was tasteless!! And, was that staleness?I'm thinking quality control on a daily basis, especially when considering the little bakery's proximity to the train's entrance.
