We went at around 9:30, and a few were already sold out by then.We tried the everything and plain bagels, with a bacon scallion and plain cream cheese. The cream cheese was delicious, easy enough to scoop with the bagels. The bagels were a decent size for the price, though the plain bagel was a bit hard to chew and eat. The everything bagel was pretty good though, and a bit softer than the plain one.

About a month ago, I decided to try their bagels with a pre-scheduled Saturday pickup. Even though everyone had a secured order, the line for pickup started forming an hour before opening. To pass the time, I grabbed a coffee from South End Buttery and sat on their patio.The perk of being the first in line was that I was able to enjoy fresh hot bagels almost straight from the oven. Both the Cheddar and Sesame bagels had an impeccably pillowy texture with just the right amount of chewiness. The Cheddar bagel, covered in crispy baked cheddar, was one of the most intriguing bagels I've ever had. It was slightly greasy, so it was better enjoyed on its own rather than with cream cheese. The Lox cream cheese I got on the side was light, creamy, and had just the right amount of lox flavor, making it a perfect dip for the sesame bagel.On my second visit, I did a Wednesday morning pickup and found virtually no wait. This time, I tried the Rosemary Salt and Everything bagels. Both were slightly denser, with fewer air pockets than the ones I had a month ago. Given that these bagels are baked in small batches, the quality seemed to vary depending on the day. Despite the slight difference in texture, both bagels were generously covered in their respective seasonings and were good on their own. I also tried the bacon and scallion cream cheese this time, and the large chunks of bacon made it extra enjoyable.There's no doubt these are high-quality bagels. However, the $7 price tag for two bagels feels a tad steep, and the cumbersome ordering and pickup process makes it challenging to consider this a regular spot. Also, having the option to buy a single bagel instead of two would be much more convenient.
August 08 · Jea KimWeird!!! I can’t understand the hype at all. I’ve had the best of the best all over the country and Montreal. These bagels are SO MEH!! We had four types and two cream cheeses. All boring. My adult daughters felt the same way. We weren’t expecting NY perfection by any means, but the way people go on about these bagels had me dying for them. They are very boring white bread. The scallion cream cheese was very bland with only the tiniest bit of green. Chewy but no good crust. You all go on enjoying them and the weird business model. I’ll drive to Salem.
